I had sirloin 250g with cognac jus. The meat is very soft and it was medium rare as I expected. I highly recommend Jardin for dinner

Second time dined at Jardin Grill and the experience was as fab as last time! Staffs were welcoming and friendly, steak was cooked to perfection, and we shared a super delicious opera cake for dessert as we were so full after the main. Definitely a place for special occasions!

Top notch of everything. From the decor to the food and the hospitality. Love every single elements Jardin grill has to offer. Attention to details on the food were just brilliance and quality. Though the silver water jugs does need a wee bit of rinse.

This restaurant is always sure to please. The food is always 5 star quality. The environment, the furnishings, the layout just what you would want. The service was great and only surpassed by the brilliance and quality of the food. The dessert was an amazing surprise too. Such a clever blend of flavor and texture, total yummm. Looking forward to go again.

Breakfast @ Jardin Grill. . Food at Sofitel Wellington is served at the French restaurant Jardin Grill. The kitchen takes pride in serving well-executed, exquisite dishes, everything I had here was excellent. . Ingredients are fresh, and dishes made to order with just a short wait. The limited seating means the restaurant tends to be fully booked, and advance reservations are recommended. . The Egg Omelette is a typical breakfast dish, comprising of between 2 to 4 whisked eggs, stuffed with a variety of ingredients then folded. Here, the ingredients include spinach, button mushrooms, tomato, and mozzarella cheese. . Sprinkled with some cracked black pepper, served with crisp fresh lettuce with vegetal sweet flavour on the side. . The egg omelette has a fluffy gooey crisp texture, carrying eggy sweet savoury salty cheesy peppery spice flavour. . The Scrambled Eggs Breakfast is a hearty meal. There's creamy soft scrambled eggs, here dressed with micro-greens, with eggy sweet savoury flavour. . There's a large slice of soft spongy sourdough bread topped with butter, carrying lovely bready sour sweet buttery flavour. . There's tender soft baked fava beans in rich tomato sauce, with vegetal earthy sweet smoky flavour. . There's crisp potato hash browns with starchy savoury salty sweet flavour, tender pork back bacon with smoky meaty salty savoury flavour, and snappy juicy pork sausages with meaty savoury salty flavour. . The scrambled eggs breakfast is a filling meal, and its versatility of ingredients result in many different variations.

The team at Jardin Grill are doing a great job. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all consistently very good. The service is also of a very high standard. Decor is great, creates a nice ambiance. If you have the opportunity to try this place out then get in there, I look forward to returning.

So glad we ate here twice. The menu looks a well designed and executed with excellence with attention to detail. Loved loved every element of it. Had the beef one day and the Brussel sprout sides are to die for! The meat is cooked to perfection and the flavour of the meat just is as good as it gets. The second time here tried the duck and pork! Amazing!!! Hats off to the team who puts a lot of effort to make this a fabulous meal. The service staff is friendly, attentive and really pleasant.

The food and service is amazing! We absolutely love this place!!!! Have been to Jardin 4x now and the Banana and Tonka is the best dessert around. I had the duck which was perfect to tear apart with a fork, and a crab ravioli with muddy fishy bisque. You must try this restaurant!!

This was an incredible dining experience. The setting in the Sofitel is beautiful and the welcome was warm. The flavours in all the dishes were well balanced and delicious and the rlesentstion beautiful! Lots of good wine to choose from and a delicious espresso martini to finish - a perfect evening! The service was attentive and nothing any trouble.

We had a fantastic dinner here, Jardin Grill has the best service I've experienced in Wellington, as well as having fantastic food. I had a view of the kitchen which was so great to watch, the efficiency and skill of the chef's is amazing. The pork belly was so good, especially the crackling. Our food also came promptly despite the restaurant being busy. Can't wait to come back.

Perfect steak, beautiful! Lobster roulade is good, too. Great service! I popped in without booking and were advised other tables are booked apart from the one I was assigned. But the whole restaurant still has lots of empty table when I have finished my dinner.

The restaurant is very nice, well presented, comfortable, and not at all noisy. The food matches this atmosphere. Service is pretty good, but occasionally a little patchy. Overall though, it was an enjoyable experience.

Went to lunch and dinner, always impressive, love the meats from wood fire grill, so much flavour, and porkbelly dish is incredibly crunch outside, and super moist inside. Worth to try their Quality Wagyu from Kobe,Japan, as it is the one of very few restaurant offering wagyu in Wellington

A Friday night treat. The small restaurant fills out, so best to book ahead. The tuna crudo was bursting with flavour with basil and truffle oil, pickled radish and crunchy toasted pistachios. The house sourdough was fresh and chewy, perfect for mopping up the flavoured olive oil. Roast pork belly was decadent and very satisfying - crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside with ribbons of fat. The grilled pineapple and fruit complemented the rich, saltiness of the pork. The cheese and fresh baguette with various complements was a great end to the meal. I enjoyed the poached tamarillo - silky, not too sweet or rich - which complemented the Brie and sweet fruits. Service was kind and attentive. I enjoyed watching the chefs in the open kitchen work their magic during peak trade.
