Honestly speaking we don't have many completion for gelato in wellington compare to Auckland. This place always has nice staff - well done to you owner. Perhaps staff can enjoy the gelato while they work there? Taste is not bad but could do better - may need some challenge? It can be pricy if you go for one scoop. Better have it with corn as you will get more gelato. Compliment staffs muscle power she or he will scoop harder and more. I would like to know how much sugar stuff they put in.
Not bad gelato, and for a reasonable price. Always good to come after a quick bite to eat. Staff are friendly and helpful, which really makes a difference.
This is my favourite place to collect a delicious mango and mixed berry Gelato from because it's so close to the ocean side it won't melt before I get there to fully enjoy it.
You can't beat Wellywood on a good day. That's not true. You can beat it only with a fruity delicious, unhealthy tarty ice cream in your grip. The staff are always friendly, and it's a nice place to sit outside in front of the lagoon and next to the water feature. (Especially lovely area to be in at night.)
Yummiest gelatos. Good kiwi flavours. Doris black plum tastes like plums and the feijoa tastes the feijoas. Will definitely be turning this into a staple over Summer.
Love their gelato especially on a hot day doing flips into the waterfront and their coffee ain't half bad either. Small amount of sitting outside that you can soak up the rays on.
Ok dead give away "yes" have been to all Kaffee Eis in Wellington and this on on par with Courtney Place great selection of gelato flavours and kewl staff location was a bit hard to find - but definetly my back up gelato for favourite flavours biscotti/choc choc chip/white chocolate and choc mint yumm

A lot of the times we have come here there are a lot of people in the shop but we don't end up having to wait too long. There is a great selection of ice-cream here and it is always good to call in on a sunny day when you're on the waterfront.

The most delicious icecream around! We tried 4 different flavors and they were all amazing. My favourite was the passionfruit, absolutely mouth tingling!
Great coffee... The best we've had so far in Wellington. Also fantastic gelato. Plus the location make this the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed break from a busy morning.
Honestly, one of the best cafes in Wellington. Staff are always friendly, coffee is awesome and they have a good selection of ice cream (if you are that way inclined). Highly recommend!
Super friendly staff, happy for you to try out different flavors, huge scoop of ice cream, can choose to have it in a cone or cup, love their locations!
Has fantastic gelato. Uses natural flavourings for these instead of artificial flavourings. Their feijoa gelato for example, tastes of real feijoa. I also enjoyed their coffee and muffins though it would be their gelato that really draws in the crowds.
