Good service and relaxed ambience and food delicious :) am doing a pancake hunt throughout WELLINGTON to see where has the best pancakes. Buttermilk pancakes fluffy and nice
My partner and I went here for lunch today. This cafe is a small but welcoming one. Nice outdoor seating area as well as an inside one.
The service was good, would have liked to receive the drinks menu with the food menus but we got one in the end.
I had the Buttermilk Pancakes with an ice cream iced coffee and my partner had The Montreal with an iced latte. My meal was delicious I love pancakes and these certainly did not disappoint! The ice cream coffee was a bit average as I thought it would be blended but it wasnt and the ice cream was extremely icey like it had been in the freezer for a long time or left out melted then frozen again. My partner said his meal was good but could have done with a little spinach or something seeing all it was was bread, salmon, eggs and sauce. His iced latte was good.
Would come back here again just would order a different drink!
All I can say is WOW! Amazing service from the minute we walked it, fast delivery on our food and it was sooo yum! Quality products used no thin skimpy bacon. Highly recommend this cafe.
A few things were off the menu, and service a little slow (busy time), but the food was good. Waitress was friendly (and very cute too.)
Had the eggs benedict and the pan fried fish.
Had heard about Plum so decided to give it a try and was thrilled with my decision! Was greeted with friendly welcome and seated immediately. All the staff were great to talk to - friendly, happy, smiles - made the atmosphere so much nicer! Food was equally as great. The first time I had the Plum Montreal. Came out with heaps of salmon and the poached eggs were great! The next day I came in I had the pancakes - Delish! Bacon cooked perfectly and the pancakes were just perfect with the strawberries and maple on them. Coffee was on point! Came out quickly and nice and smooth also.
Definitely will be going back. Big well done to all your staff. It really does make a difference when you're surrounded with happy people!
We had an excellent brunch here last week
Very popular
The food was superb
My wife had the Big Breakfast
Me the Grilled Cheese
Both high quality
Deserves its success
The Seattle waitress was also superb
Keep it going
A good overall cafe with all the usual brunch choices. I particularly liked my braised beef sandwich but in comparison the pan fried fish sandwich was a bit bland. Overall a good choice for Sunday lunch.
We’ve been here twice, once a month ago and then today for the brunch menu. Was reasonably busy but still managed to bags a table outside both times :) we got the major plumster and the eggs benedict. The first time everything was perfect, eggs were cooked beautifully and the meals as a whole were 💯 The second time the eggs were all a bit over cooked but we communicated this to our waitress and she bought us over some new ones :) Also the eggs benedict was a little bit drowned with hollondaise sauce but that was easy enough to scrape off. I’d rate it a 5 the first time we went and a 3.5 the second time. The wait staff were lovely and very prompt and those outside tables are so sunny, definitely going to be one of the brunch spots i’ll frequent this summer!!
Thanks for the unique rum! My friend and I were so tired after a long drive. We felt much better after the drinks and foods. And the location is great, close to our hotel.
Best Cafe in central Wellington for breakfast. Coffee is always good and the food is cooked well. I get the eggs bene with a side of hash browns and I can never fault it. Generous amount of bacon and the eggs are cooked spot on. Hash browns are soooo good. Photo is a pic of the vege plumster and full plumster we had today from another visit.
This is one of the places to go if you want big delicious comfort brunch food.
I had the veggie plumster. Everything on the plate was tasty and that hashbrown was the hit of the dish!
Came here on a whim looking for a tasty brunch. The staff were friendly and attentive, we didn't have to wait for anything. The big cooked breakfast 'the plumster' has awesome hash browns! Reasonably priced and good coffee.
Had brunch here with a friend, and immediately the staff were friendly and accommodating! I ate the classic pancakes and they were delicious, and the coffee was fantastic too. My friend enjoyed her kumara hash stack. Decent sized portions, you won't leave feeling hungry!
Service: Always good
Quality: Always top end
Value: Average prices
We have been here a few times and never had anything but a great experience so highly recommended.
Came here for a very late brunch. Got the delicious all day breakfast on small size. There was plenty! Certainly didn't feel like it was the small meal. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Owner asked us for feedback and when we said we were on holiday he comp'd our drinks and had a lovely chat.
Will definitely be back.
Came here for brunch with a friend, although we had a 15 minute wait it was well worth it. Ordered the vegetarian breakfast without hash browns (more mushrooms) and it was delicious. Great choices of bread and the chutney served with it completed it! Each part tasted so good. Definitely recommend
Thank you Plum staff for your patience with my wee one having a hangry meltdown today. It wouldve been great if the food was faster coming but the wall had already been hit. Had the Major Plumster which was filling and delish if just a tad stingy with the amount of egg. They have a kids menu but I didnt get to see it, wouldve been good to have had it shared with us. Been a while since I had been but still good reliable spot for a bite and coffee
Have been to this place quite often but not anymore ! I reckon its a nice place with nice food but the smoothie is way too expensive! This cafe has a nice presentation for the food which looks really yum haha
A nice place with that Wellington-ish vibe. Good food, somewhat interesting coffee - was that hazelnut? Enjoyed the photo collection on the wall too.
A wee bit expensive but somewhere nice to visit if you feel like treating yourself. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, the service was great as the people there were friendly. I had the pancakes with berries and cream- the berries had a definite kick to them but the sweetness of the cream was a nice combination, the pancakes light and fluffy. My partner had the pulled pork burger with fries which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Absolutely delicious food! I love coming here. Have had kumara hash cakes - definitely recommend! And pancakes are by far the best choice for breakfast. Awesome place!
The setting is simple but inviting. The service is excellent. My pancakes fluffy and delectable - fluffy pancakes are hard to find nowadays. His was the Plumster aka big brekkie which was devoured with minimal talking - sign it's delicious. Great coffee too!
A very busy cafe in the heart of Cuba street. Good coffee and great food. The Blackboard Beef is one of the most tasty and memorable dishes I've had in Wellington. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy and well seasoned. I never knew potatoes could be this tasty but the herb seasoned potatoes were crispy on the outside and just yum. The red wine jus complemented the dish so well. I can't remember if there was anything else along with the dish as this was almost 6 months ago. But generally plum serves excellent food. Recommended.
It is a nice enough place however not nice enough for me to go back. It's dark and narrow in there, the terrace appealed me more but it was impossible to get a spot there. We had food and that was decent. Asked for my steack to be medium well and got it well done... so this is something to actually pay attention to because it quite took some pleasure off from me. However the sauce and the prawns were good but the onions rings were far too greasy. Just got the impression to swallow oil... Also there was a confusion, you need to order a side with your plate and it goes like potatoes (really good and tasty by the way), seasonal veggies (looker appealing), and green salad for 7$. You don't get all 3 for 7$, they are $7 each. Which is confusing because I ordered them all and the waitress did not specify they were separate. So i send them back. However now that I've paid attention to my receipt I think they actually charged me for something I haven't eaten and for a mistake on their side.
So yeah the food was alright and it was a nice place to catch up with my friend. But no I don't like being overcharged, so this is the end between plum cafe and I.
I had the mini plumster which was good and still super filling. Hollandaise was great and rostis would receive 5/5 by themselves. Gluten free bread was amazing from zaidas. Free range eggs and bacon were great as well.
Poached eggs on toast were amazing with rostis and hollandaise!
The only downer about Plum is the elderly gentleman who seems to run the show but has a bad attitude and has lost the plot.
We asked to swap chutney for hollandaise and he acted as if it was a massive deal and had to ask the kitchen if it was okay, when the waitress came over and took or order she said that's completely fine and when he came back he explained "the situation" to her and she was like yeah it's no problem and he said "okay just give her a small portion". So unnecessary.
If not for him it probably would've had a higher rating however his loud unnecessary comments were not delightful during brunch.
Plum cafe down Cuba st is a perfect place to enjoy quality coffee and food. I had the kumara stack; it was great. The service is good and relaxed atmosphere
Donald Tracey Murray
+4.5
Had a lovely breakfast here. The service is fantastic. Effiicient and friendly. The menu interesting and the food really good. Another Wellington restaurant that knows how to make a really good coffee.
I have been here three times now at different times of the day, each time the staff and the food were faultless!!! Buzzy vibe, probably not for a quiet time but food was amazing!!! Can't wait for the next visit to try something else on the menu...
The fitout is frankly odd. Weird to the point of being distracting. Long thin Pravda-esque dimensions on a smaller scale, mirrored, black ceramic tiled bar, little consistent throughout. The interior design fades as one looks higher towards the atmospheric ceiling. It's so narrow that there's a feeling of being squeezed between bar and banquette. Is it European? American? Grunge? I don't know but it feels uncomfortable. A feeling made worse by the raised bar where wait staff look down on queuing punters as if to assert their own status. They don't really - they were very nice, but it's the psychology of the thing.
The cabinet was dull - slices - unrelieved by anything fresh - no rolls of good bread with crisp green lettuce and pink meat - just fawny brown slices of something out of a 1930s woman's weekly. Slices and scones seemed to be the order of the day.
Demographics - an eclectic mix - like the fitout- mums and daughters, dads and kids (school hols), and a collection of lost souls bored with watching the bucket fountain. The foot traffic must bring in all sorts.
Two coffees - a flat white and a trim cap, with a scone.
Cap interesting, nice piece of latte art, good flavour and well made. Flat white also good. From memory supreme coffee which is usually good.
The scone was ok but not more than that. Light but oily texture - oil is much easier, quicker and (at least currently) healthier than butter in scones but, I think, infinitely less pleasant. The scone also left a fuzzy baking soda effect on the tongue - at least that's what I assume it is - to me, at least, it seems very common in cafe scones especially the oil based ones. Would have preferred to pay a little more and get butter instead of oil, and cheese as a significant interior ingredient rather than a thin film on top. Let's face it, if you're buying a scone, you aren't trying to buy health food!
Despite my experience, Plum scores reasonably highly on the zomato ratings, clearly it's popular and at 11.30 this morning it was filling up nicely, so probably best to ignore me completely. It's possible that the plates are brilliant and there's a chef out back who is a genius with everything except scones. But for me the ambience and counter food don't rate a return and while the coffee is good there are some seriously brilliant coffee places within a stones throw. Unless made up for by the plated food, Plum, I think, is overrated and its glory possibly rests more on the bucket fountain outside.
The cafe was busy on a rainy Sunday morning but we were seated straight away and moved to a larger table when it became available. Chose Plum because they had pancakes with berry compote and cream which was what my friend really wanted - they didn't disappoint. The mini vege plumster and the kumara hash stack with bacon were delicious and the portions were generous. Coffee was hot and hit the spot. Friendly staff and warm on a cold day.
Lovely warm cafe on Cuba, nice coffee but the food was delicious! Decadent pancakes sounded nice, looked nice but were surprisingly tasty. The combination of flavours really worked - berries, vanilla butter and a little whipped cream.
I'll give these a guys pass on their pretty slow service, having to be prompted for both menus and food ordering it wasn't a great look. The service was really pleasant and in no way rude, just slow and slightly careless. The pass comes from being a Saturday and there being six of us, but it wasn't busy enough for it to be totally justified.
The Coffee's wore smooth, of good strength and taste. But wore served sort of warm rather than hot - a bit like Melbourne coffee is served for those that can relate. The cafe slices wore like a sliver I found quite odd, call me old fashioned but when you get a slice you want a SLICE ya know.
The food was worth the long wait though, I thoroughly enjoyed the pulled pork grilled cheese, it was seriously tasty. Tangy, tender pork, perfect bread and cheese, was tasty as hell. A nice hearty burger, and a perfectly cooked eggs florentine with lots of healthy spinach.
I think plum must be a really fantastic place to eat usually, I wouldn't hold coming back despite the small portions of the slices and slow service today.
Nestled down Cuba St is a Cafe with a great personality and ambience. I stopped for lunch on my Wellie trip. Loved the normal and mini sizes of some of the dishes. Food came out and it was great. The coffee was perfect. I sat outside. Overall very impressed.
My apple pie was really good, also the caramel slice with something... Supreme coffee is one of my favorites, always good. Friendly people, nice music.
Enjoyed it, definitely will go back. In the heart of the always bustling Cuba Mall. Had used the Entertainment Card and for the 2 for one deal a hot chocolate and a gorgeous apple Pie with whipped cream - eyes rolling into back of head stuff.
Read several good reviews and passed the door a few times before coming in. The entrance is nondescript and they open later than some early morning cafés. However, the food is excellent, the service friendly and there's plenty of space. A popular Friday lunch spot for the locals.
Woah Plum y'all stepped up! Caught up with some mates and the waitress was more than happy to help my friend who is gluten and lactose intolerant. (Hospo pet hates) She even remembered the salad had feta in it so suggested a swap to avocado! She was very chatty and polite and I just loved her correct pronounciation of "Terakihi" to my Aussie mates - made me proud to be kiwi! Coffee was bang on! For those with dietary requirements you won't ever be greeted with rolling eyes! Plum you've got a star waitress there, hope you're able to tell her thanks for being wonderful - my aussie mates loved their experience today!
Delicious pork belly (crispy and crackly on top, silky and tender underneath). We were blown away though by the beignets, freshly made and oozing with chocolate ganache. We appreciated how the friendly waitstaff hustled on our dessert order so that we could make our evening show. Excellent heating on a cold night too. Looking forward to another visit.
Very impressed. The waitress was extremely friendly and the pancakes were amazing. A little too small for someone with a big appetite like me, but overall very impressed!
Nice little joint on the heart of Cuba Street. Has a nice patio that flows onto the walkway of Cuba that is a great place to catch some rays and people watch.
Had the smoked salmon cakes. It was a nice twist on the normal salmon eggs benny. I still prefer the traditional way but I enjoyed trying this one.
Fantastic service. Delicious food. The steak was cooked just how I like it. A great place to eat in the hearth of the funky Cuba street. They also make a tasty Vienna coffee.
The coffee was amazing and the service was excellent. Although It was a bit over priced. For example, I ordered a piece of caramel slice from the cabinet which was a tiny slither and cost $2.50 . plum cafe is lovely inside however
Potato gnocchi with Kapiti blue cheese & toasted walnut cream. As a starter is was perfectly sized and the stunning flavour had me enraptured. That Kapiti blue really is something. A bowl of cheesy paradise.
Simple but nice menu. Few tasty looking breakfast options. Kumara stack was decent and was served very quickly. We were served by two different people; one was really attentive and helpful, other a bit surly.
Nice cafe, not long to wait for meals which taste pretty good. A little more range would be nice though. Efficient staff and relaxed atmosphere :)
Nice environment with great feeds, have really put effort into different flavors and dips for snack food. All the snacks are also great sizes.
Most the time the coffee is great, however i have had the occasional burnt one...
Staff are friendly however it can sometimes take awhile to be served. Perhaps more hands on deck would help this great team out.
Must trys:
Breads with dips
chicken skuers
This place is absolutely brilliant! Loved the atmosphere and the food! The food was to die for! The service by the staff was exceptional, and I really enjoyed my meal
Went to Plum with my daughter (age 10) last weekend for a "girls" lunch and had such a lovely time, I had to do a review! I was really impressed with the service - friendly and thoughtful, the coffee - excellent and the food - good range of choices, beautifully cooked and presented. However, the thing that really impressed me was the children's menu which offered fresh, well-thought out food for kids, without resorting to the deep fried, frozen rubbish that many cafes think is all children eat. My daughter had a great time, ate ALL her lunch and we will be back again!!
Always good. Tasty food, good service. It is my favourite Cuba Quarter eaterie, with lots of action and street fashions. Good place to take visitors to Wellington.
It appears that to rate five stars I have to type more characters; so the literary challenged cannot give restaurants high scores. Hhmm.…
Had a great experience at Plum. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great. We came after recommendations from several friends and I would join them in suggesting Plum as a great place for brunch. Portion size was just right (for me) and coffee was very good.
We've been there twice as we're from out of town; once was brunch and once was dinner. Everything we had there was exceptionally good. The wait staff were friendly and helpful, and being right on Cuba St. is a definite plus, especially on a nice day with the doors open. We are spoiled Californians, and we often find the food in Auckland mediocre. We will definitely go back to Plum next time we are in Wellington.
We were trying to find somewhere to have dinner on a holiday weekend. After looking at a couple of menus we chose Plum. What an excellent choice this turned out to be. They were not very busy and had a vocalist on the guitar (he was not too bad). The food was probably some of the best we have had in a long time in Wellington. The Pork belly was beautifully cooked with lots of flavour and some crackling skin on top. The steak was cooked how it was ordered nicely pink in the middle. What more could you want, oh yeah a couple of nice glasses of wine.
We stopped in for dinner in passing and it turned out to be a great decision. We both ordered steak and it came perfectly cooked. We both thought it was the best we'd had.
The meal was simple, well cooked and just exceptional.
This is a cosy cafe/bar on Cuba Mall that is well worth a visit.
We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of Sunday lunch, sitting at the open tables at Plum Cafe, in the heart of Cuba Street, Wellington City.
The vibes are really good. It's obviously a very popular place to eat. The friendly staff were attentive and efficient, making sure we were served promptly.
The menu offers an appetising range of choices. We chose the signature dishes
Plumster- Eggs, Breakfast Sausage, Wairarapa Bacon, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, House Made Hash Browns, Hollandaise & Toast 22.00 half portion 15.00
Vege Plumster- Eggs, Mushrooms, Spinach, Tomatoes, Avocado, House Made Hash Browns, Hollandaise & Toast same prices. The half portion was more than enough for me.
I really appreciated the avocado and hollandaise being served on separate small dishes on the larger plate, so that the quantity added to the meal was my choice at the table.
Really healthy and helpful in my first week of a gym membership!
I went with a friend who's a regular Plum-goer. We ate there on Thursday night.
I had the (apparently famous) pork belly. Beautiful flavours, perfectly cooked and the right portion size.
Vegetables and Potatoes are each extra , and at $8 each I skipped them, but if you have a large appetite you'd probably want them.
That left me room for the dessert - chocolate mousse served in a tulip cup, with pickled raspberries. Again it was spot on. Rich, delicious, a good serving but not too much.
We paid $100 for 2, with a cocktail each, main and dessert, one coffee, no sides. So it isn't a cheap eat, but I felt like some good quality food and it hit the mark. (I should note that there were lighter salad mains under $20 available.)
The service was knowledgeable, and hit the right note.
One thing I suspect the servers will have picked up on already - a few people had apparently thought that they could use their entertainment book on Valentine's Day - a wee note as you come in by the till would be helpful
I went here today for lunch. They were really busy when I came in so I thought they would take quite some time to take my order. However, the service was pretty efficient and fast. The moment I decided my meal, the waitress was already taking my order.
I had a sticky pork belly with mashed potatoes on a green apple sauce (or something like that). It was awesome. I love pork belly and it was perfect. The skin was crispy and sticky, a pleasure to chew on! And the meat itself was great: tender and cooked to its best point. The mashed potatoes were the ideal combination, amazing taste as well.
I work in hospitality and try to give my best customer service. So I think it would´ve been appropriate if the staff at Plum Café had checked on my meal as I was eating it and not after I finished it. Working in the industry I find that a lot of customers don’t ask for more drinks or speak their minds regarding their dishes unless asked for by their waiter. Personally, I think that would make a big difference to improve customer service. Overall, I found it alright.
After finishing my meal I got a coffee and it was so nice that it actually made my day. I usually drink coffee in a sip or two, but this one I really wanted to savour it. Totally recommended!
Might go back next time to try their brunch menu. I was very tempted by many of their options. Though I was more in a lunch mood today. And the food was better than I expected.
My wife and I ate brunch here during our trip on the weekend. I had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon (Montreal). Not the best I've had, but definitely not the worst. My wife loved her traditional eggs benedict.
Good service (not amazing), and really liked the decor.
Had the Wellington on a Plate two course menu – I chose the smoked salmon entrée which was delicious. The pork belly main was also fantastic with crispy crackling. The meal was well balanced (unlike some other places that have rich food but can be a struggle at the end – this wasn’t the case here). I've been twice before and always find their food really high quality and tasty. The wine that came with meal was generous. We had a small dessert of a cake from the cabinet – it was quite tasty too, but the highlights would be the savoury food for me. The service was mostly good – except when we first came in, it was unclear whether we find a seat first or report to the counter first – no one was at the counter, and not wanting to miss out on a spot in such a popular place, I got a seat first – no one came to us, but they did look fairly busy. After a few minutes I went to the counter and from then on the service was good, fairly quick and efficient with some nice touches – the waiter was walking away from the door when we rose to leave but he walked back to hold the door open for us.
I had read reviews which made me go out of my way to ensure we went here for breakfast. I was so disappointed with the service and also the manner that the food was presented not to mention the price was over the top for what we received. The scrambled eggs looked like they had been burnt and i didnt even touch my bacon eh in turkish bread it didnt cut it at all. We will not be going back i knew we should have stuck to our usual and reliable at Dixon Street Cafe!
I have now changed my rating as the owner did come back and advised why the service was not so great he also sent a voucher which was very unexpected but pleasing also. Thank you to the management for taking on board the view so based on this I have changed my rating.
Ok guys i gifted the voucher to my mother in law who used who had brunch on 22.12.12 and she said the meal was absolutely fantastic they had the plum breakfast excellent atmosphere service and food. Thank you very much have a great new year
Went to the Sileni winemaker's degustation at Plum and the food was amazing! 6 courses, food all fantastic and well matched to the wines. The salmon was melt-in-your-mouth with a terrific celeriac puree and the beef eye fillet perfectly cooked. Very friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended.
We love Plum, the service is relaxed but helpful, very accommodating when we brought our young son with us for dinner. The food was fantastic, have been back a couple of times but the only disappointment is they menu doesn't change often enough which stops us returning more often.
While in Wellington for some RnR from CHCH, my husband and I happened upon Plum Cafe. It was very busy, being Labour Day, but we were shown a seat by a very friendly waitress, who explained the menu to us and took our drink order straight away. The food was great, the atmosphere buzzing and the staff were awesome. We deffinately will be back! It was so nice to be able to eat out somewhere worth while, as we have lost most of ours in CHCH! Well done the Plum team!
Fantastic Wellington on a Plate Burger!
This was a great experience as the Burger (accompanied by Chunky fries, Aioli & Tomato Sauce) was delivered quickly, conducive with my schedule for the day.
With Blue Cheese, Crispy Pancetta, Beetroot Relish & a Wholesome but light bun, the Burger rocked!
Excellent
Just had Dinner there with large group (12) of friends. Nothings worse than incorrectly placed orders when your with a large group...Not this time! Everything from the swapped accompaniments to the degrees on the meat to the extra sides was perfect! Terrific location right in the heart of things. Great staff and service. We will definitely be back
Plum have been a part of the cuba St cafe scene for a number of years and during that time have always managed to turn out great food/wine matches and quirky dishes.
The establishment literally hums with diners on a weekend night and their wellington on a plate menu makes good use of local Wellington regional produce.
Service was pleasant and authentic (There are no forced smiles here, ) and even better still, the food was great - The steak I ordered cooked to medium rare perfection, served with a delectable Martinborough Pinot. Desert was a sublime and oh so moorish chocolate dish that did wonderful things with an already perfect flat white. Would I go back, definitely!
Nice and cozy atmosphere. I like that the place is not too noisy as well. We had Nina cocktails. You can choose your own favorite perfume cocktail but we only tried Nina and it was lovely.
Cute little French styled Cafe. The brunch cocktails were definitely a highlight - was slightly gutted that we couldn't get the beignets which we really wanted to try. But other than that - definitely recommend!
Always inviting with welcoming staff. I enjoy their coffee... strong smooth, but not overpowering... I opted for the chicken burger, which arrived in a quite timely manner with chilled drinking water and my second coffee. The chicken breast was moist and perfectly cooked, nestled in a fresh bun surrounded by a very large serving of thin French fries... seasoned truffle salt no less. My friend enjoyed her toastie, ( toasted sandwich) and from a vast array of fillings opted for the ham and cheese (we’re both simple folk)... we sat and chatted for an eternity, never feeling pressured to move the circus on... free wifi is also a bonus. My only negative would be the horrendous smell in the lavatory... but they were spotless and modern. (Let’s blame the council)... out of 10. 9. See you next visit Plum
Great place to stop in. Food was delicious but I wish there was more vegan/vegetarian options. What I did order was fantastic though!
Love Café Plum.
They make the best coffee in Wellington.
The food is excellent, the vibe is chill, the couches are so comfortable and the service is the best.
I love the granola for breakfast.
I couldn't recommend Le Café Plum any more, it's my go-to for coffee and chill.
10 Goldblums out of a possible 10 Goldblums.
I visited Wellington for 5 nights and spent a couple of hours each day drinking coffees, reading books and enjoying the sun. The coffee was amazing and the staff were fantastic, very polite and welcoming. I will definitely be back next time I visit!
Really high quality food and lovely cocktails. The service was incredible and we felt very well taken care of. Tia/teo? (had nice earrings) was our server and went above and beyond. The other bartender was also very attentive and made lovely drinks.
The cafe itself is well presented and clean, helping covid concerns and making the overall experience really pleasant.
Recommend for any brunch needs. Thank you!
This was my first trip to Plum in years. I came in today to do a bit of remote work and meet with a friend. I was well rewarded with my choice. The service was prompt and friendly, including actual verification of vaccine passes. I almost burst when I saw the carrot cake. The presentation was luxurious and the taste lived up to expectation.
the fries are so good.If you like M's you must like theirs.
I like the halloumi Berger , and my friend tell me the fry chicken berger tastes more juicy😄
Excellent service, good food, great coffee. You even get the occasional birb taking shelter from the cold. Definitely one of the longer running and dependable cafes in the area.
Plum is one of my favourite breakfast spots in Wellington. The eggs Benedict is fantastic and the location on Cuba street creates a great atmosphere. I try to visit Plum every time I’m in Wellington!
Delicious food, drinks and friendly staff. Definitely I will be back again!
Amazing little place for brunch! Delicious food, but the staff are really what makes it such a great venue. Especially the lady with the fringe- I think her name was Dayna? She was amazing. Great customer service; she really went above and beyond to make sure our day kicked off to a great start. Highly recommend visiting
Lovely little place on Cuba. Charming atmosphere. Had a couple of lovely cocktails. Will definitely be back to try the menu.
Cozy place, nice service. Good coffee dan there's fiah n chips for my kids
Simple looking, with an elegant feel... great food if you want a face snack or dessert.
Funky little bar. Nice food, nice cocktails and decent whisky selection. Old school music or me in a good mood too lol
Love the style and vibe. The avocado on sourdough toast, with the additon of a poached egg, was one of the best brunch meals I have had in a long time! Service was really great too.
Great and friendly team. Good food! Recommended 100%
