A Beach Paradise with Delectable Pita Breads! The Beach House Cafe is a coastal haven that captured my heart with their chargrilled pita breads. Add in the stunning beach views and friendly service, and you have a dreamy dining experience. Don't miss those pita breads!
Another outing in between Christmas Day and New Years. The place was fairly packed, and pumping with patrons, inside and out, basking in the post Christmas Day warmth and sunlight. Understandably, the lunch meals took a wee bit of time, and can I suggest that if you have someone to look after your t
Tremendous views out to Cook Straight, good menu, great service, great staff. They now have a device that allows you to order your own food and drinks. Worked well and makes your stay more flexible (order when it suits you).
Great place to enjoy the coffee and relax on a wet day. Tasty meals My children enjoyed their french toast, coffee was on point and service was delightful. Highly recommend the pulled lamb and check out the glass display all made fresh.
Always a great spot especially when there is less wind and you can sit outside. The food is great, just the range of options isn’t huge. The new ordering system takes a little bit of charme out of the local cafe athmosphere.
A bit pricey for the portion sizes, but good-quality food! The red lentil soup and focaccia bread were top notch.
The menu is short and excellent. Very good coffee. Service is always good. It’s a tight ship. Best of all, we can sit outside under shelter, which is rare on the south coast. There are blankets if you get cold.
Great tasting food and very nicely presented. I was impressed when I asked if I could have the eggs bene gluten free that it came with a beautiful fried bread as per the menu. Coffee was great as was the cocktail to finish!
Great vibe and so cool how they have a tablet for each table so you can literally order at any time. Once you're done you bring the tablet to the counter to pay. Great view out to the water as well. Would definitely recommend!
In my opinion this is the best cafe with the best view in town. The coffee is excellent and so is the food. There is a deck out the front which overlooks the beautiful and sometimes wild south coast of wellington. The crystal/gift shop shop out the back is a must visit too.
Go here - you will not be disappointed. Delicious (gluten free) Gado Gado salad. Will be returning to try some of the other dishes. We had to queue for a table but the staff are well organized and it was worth the wait.
Got the Salmon pastrami with potato rosti, remoulade, watercress, pickled egg, crispy capers for $24. Delicious meal, the crispy capers being a nice touch to complement the soft salmon and egg. Service was relatively quick given the place was full.
I brought my great-aunt here to enjoy some time out at a cafe with an amazing view. She's got hearing aids so the reasonably quiet nature of the place made this place our obvious choice for a cuppa. Attentive staff when ordering, but then it's up to us to get their attention to say that the butter i
What a great place. Enjoyed the crispy light waffles with lychees which we shared. Great coffee, had 2 cups! Please go and enjoy 😉
