Nikau Gallery Cafe - Wellington - Photo album

Great place for brunch on a weekend. One of the few places that opens for reservations. The eggs and toasts were good. So was the coffee. Best options - Kedgeree πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ The Cheese Scone was only microwaved, not toasted though. But they let us know in advanced.
Great place. Coffee was lovely. The food was great. Avocado toast tasted wonderful. The porridge was great. The scone was delicious, tad more muffin like but still very yummy.
Tasty specials, good friendly service even tho they were full which is nice. Flavourful with fresh ingredients. Everything was served warm and we'll presented. Make good use of the outside seatings on a sunny Wellington day with sunscreen, some tables have umbrellas.
Yum! Great food - great coffee. Best GF toast in town! My go to place for breakfast when I am in Wellington!!
A hip little spot in the middle of a nice central location. Their mochaccino was topped with some shaved chocolate as opposed to cocoa powder, and it tasted great. Their pancakes and bacon were nice and fluffy. It's a good little place if you want a small table and good service. It is partially open
Experience Asado. Booking is required. 2 hours BBQ dinner experience(6.30pm to 8.30pm).
Great food but the service left a little to be desired...would recommend though
The kedregee is delicious and well-worth a visit here, but you shouldn't miss the ceviche. Excellent coffee and a very tart and refreshing lemonade make perfect accompaniments.
Cheese Scone Review : A vertically challenged scone, and yet intentionally so, proud to be different. More of a flatbread, first impression was a slice of very cheesed French toast. I nearly needed a scalpel to peel back a layer and get some butter in. High quality butter that Mainland. I've never
Good little spot for breakfast and brunch
Nikau has an ideal selection of lunch options, not too many overwhelming choices, but more than enough to find something that will hit the spot. Plus a tempting array of counter options.
Wonderful brunch here. The coffee is delicious and quick friendly service. Definitely recommend as a great brunch spot on the weekend.
Lovely place, I had a delicious lunch and wanted to try everything! It’s not cheap and portions are small but as a treat it was greatly enjoyed.
Excellent location for lunch in combination with the superb Hilma Klint exhibition at City gallery .. especially if raining as attached
This place is super cozy! You feel miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet it is actually located in the heart of the city. Various options for the high quality foods and they can cater for GF and DF. Reasonable price and friendly staffs. Highly recommend!
Delicious iced chocolate and scone! Nice vibe and not very busy midday Sunday. Scone was a little pricey at $5 but tasty.
Lovely avo on toast with bacon. Coffee always good and great cheese scones.
