Always busy, excellent and authentic food. Take-away is also managed very efficiently. Not more needs saying, really but apparently you need to waffle on.

Fabulous cosy restaurant, excellent food, very friendly and professional service. The crumbed feta (entrée) and set yoghurt (dessert) are must tries. Live music added ambience and was not too loud. Highly recommended.

Simple but welcoming deco. This new place is quite busy to pay to book in advance. The menu is rather simple but does contain some good choices. Designed to share so sized are overly big. Prices are reasonable but keep in mind that you do need some side dishes for the main. The service was very efficient- in fact a bit too quick to receive main dishes 5 mins after starters. Oh they have their own labeled wine selection!

First time eating authentic Greek food and drinks, and it was absolutely delicious! 💯 will highly recommend this restaurant. Went here for my friend Helen's grad dinner and drinks Dec 2023 and Oikos definitely not only had yummy food but also amazing staff members who made us all feel welcomed and well looked after! 😇🥰 Thank you Oikos staff!! 😊

Authentic Greek Delights! Oikos Hellenic Cuisine is a hidden gem. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and transported to Greece with their flavorful dishes. Impeccable service and a true culinary journey. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better to make reservation 1 or 2 months earlier

A small boutique restaurant that gives a vibe of old style home cooking and dining. Most guests getting up and talking to chefs and thanking them for the beautiful experience. Quick and prompt service with smiles. Eggplant and lamb shoulder dishes were outstanding with the textures and flavors. Pita was crisp and the garlic dip was pretty good. Generous portions too. Didn't have any space in our poku for sweet course. Will be back for sure.

This restaurant is absolutely the hidden gem of Wellington. Whatever you order you must order the lamb. It is insane how good it is

The food was absolutely amazing! Kudos to the chef who prepared all our meals. The cauliflower was drizzled with so much herbs and flavour, and the lamb was juicy and tender. Each dish was so aromatic and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to impress a date or have an anniversary celebration!

We ordered takeout from here on a Saturday night. Food was delicious and all made to cater to Gluten intolerance. Ordered 3 mains and 3 sides/starters and was enough food for 3 adults and 2 20 months olds. Couldn't recommend this place more. I've traveled extensively and eaten at many great restaurants and in my opinion would put this food up there with some of the bests.

Absolutely phenomenal meal. For me, the sesame feta and homemade pita was the highlight and for my husband, it was the chicken and orzo served under the lamb meatballs. We will be back for the sharing menu!

The food is great!. One of my new favorite places in Wellington. I've been twice in recent months and recommend it for a relaxed night out with good company. Can't say enough about how delicious the lamb is. It's a cosy environment and the Greek food is full of flavors you don't serve up at home. Allow about $70-$80 per head.

Had a great dining experience with a friend. We went halves on the sharing menu and it was well worth it. Delicious and well portioned.
