Quality evening spent during valentines. Had for dinner with my wife. Restaurant ambience is nice but as such no views but when the food is good you don’t require a view. Mix blend of fusion cuisine and liked the entrees and also the mains only downside was the dessert as the expectation were high with the quality of mains but still worth visiting again

This next level class and style, it's actually the restaurant for the hotel Double Tree by Hilton, so to find it you gotta to upstairs from the Hotel lobby, and the first thing you'll notice is how damn nice and friendly all the staff are all the way from the entrance to the actual restaurant.

The ambience here was perfect when we visited. Because it was so new, there weren't many visitors so it felt we owned the floor! Even with others, the seating inside is well spaced well so you won't ever feel cramped. I would sit by the bar side tables if you can with a small group, something about it just oozes that old school high roller feel, super posh.

Food here is also pretty top notch, we only got the pizza but damn it was a nice pizza, not a burnt piece in sight, well cooked and flavoured, exceptional. The drinks is where this place really shined for us, oh the choices, so many choices, we didn't know what we wanted so just asked the bartender to make us something with a citrus and sweet flavour and he came up with a pretty slick drink which looked the part and tasted even better.

So overall, the experience here was epic, we were staying at the double tree so it make it that much more convenient, but even if you weren't, it's located in a super central part of town so it's worth considering for your next night out!

I had a 3 course meal for lunch. The food was amazing in taste. The girl who served us was Aatiqah, she was very fast and helpful as well. Service was provided with a smile at all times. Good service, good food and amazing vibe of the restaurant.

We went to Spring Kitchen for dinner and have been served with exceptionally delicious food and drinks. My medium rare steak was cooked to perfection. The burger was so tasty. The service was also good which made it such a great night for the family.

Stopped in for dinner on a work trip, with no expectations beyond an easy meal on the go. What a gem! Genuinely lovely food - thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented - and a fantastic team. So nice to have a hotel restaurant exceed expectations.

Beautiful food. I'd describe it as Indian Fusion - there's something for virtually everyone here, and even when strong flavours are used, they're often used delicately - never overpowering the other parts of the meal. The atmosphere is reasonable, located on the 1st floor - there's very little other noise or foot traffic to distract from conversation. The wine menu was put together well, with wines to match every menu option. The staff were incredibly attentive and exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu items and wines. If you're after a spot for a nice dinner or a business lunch Wellington's central business district, this is definitely a fantastic choice and well recommended.

Was in Wellington this week for work staying at the Hilton Double Tree. Normally a bit dubious about checking out hotel restaurants however decided to give this a go. Man was i impressed. The service was pretty top quality and the food was light, flavourful and really warming. I walked about feeling satisfied with my meal. They have a very well priced menu and wine range (again very surprised by this normally over the top charges). I had my entree and main out pretty quickly. I followed with breakfast the next morning which was a bit of a let down compared to the evening priors experience. Although a buffet some things were cold and the selection wasn't huge... it felt more like an Airline lounge breakfast. Dinner was ~$80 including wine, and breakfast $35 with a flat white (which was cold...)

My partner and I recently celebrated her birthday here, and we had an absolute fantastic experience. The wait staff were delightful to deal with, and the food was delicious, while being rather different (being Asian fusion food) yet incredibly clever. The spice levels in each dish were perfectly balanced, which is one of the several reasons why I consider this worthy of 5 stars. I had the salmon entree, which was perfectly cooked and tasty salmon, with one nice dollop of beetroot reduction, and one of a lemon/citrus reduction, which paired nicely. The main was the tandoori charcoal chicken which was simply fantastic. The spice on this was outstanding, with a little bit of heat, which I found really kicked it up a notch. The charcoal chicken was perfect to me, ever so slightly crisp on the outside as you would expect, but perfectly cooked and juicy on the inside. The sauce was an excellent pairing too, as was the wasabi mashed potato, even though I am not a fan of mashed potato. The addition of the cardamon seeds was simply genius, and added a little something to it that was incredibly enjoyable. As for desert, I sadly forgot to take a photo, but it was the caremalised charred pineapple, which was also delicious. I especially enjoyed the sticky salted butter sauce on the side, which also had a small touch of cardamon to really add to the dish. It was a desert that you would never really see elsewhere as it truly embodied the fusion style, and considering how yummy it was, that's a bit of a shame! I love different and interesting deserts, and this was a prime example of that. Aside from that, the decor had a very nice 1920's feel to it, with some modern twists, to make the room cosy yet stylish. The wine selection was also really well chosen too. All in all I would very much recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting something slightly different yet special
