The Wellingtonian is sensational. After going from brewery to brewery and drinking bland beer, this one hit the spot. My tastebuds were awakened with the prolific notes of this NZ IPA.
We were sucked into here from the vibe on the patio from off the street. Solid beers, decent menu and all around great vibes. A perfect place to waste away the last few hours of sun in the day booping along to the live DJ drinking beers 🍻
Great drinks, love the Gin selection. Music is great, and the Gorilla burgers..... mmm yum.

Good beer, quick service and the food truck deal with next door is great. We have vegetarian burgers and fries, very delicious and just what we wanted on a cold day.
It's a pub. It's noisy. Some people love that, I don't 😁 The selection of beers was definitely trending towards "kill me with hops" to "unusual", neither of which does much for me, but they had a potable cider 🤔
Huge range of great beers on tap from their own brewery. I came on my own on a Monday night and it was fairly busy. You can order burgers from Gorilla Burgers next door and they bring them over to your table. Big tables for groups and nice upstairs area with outdoor space.
beautiful venue and yummy tasty beer. FF fits well into the Welly craft beer scene with their unique twist and flavours. you'll love the venue, and if you're not into beer they have plenty of seltzers and cocktails to go around. worth a drop in if you're in Te Aro!
Just around the corner from my daughter’s ex-workplace (big shout out to Mandatory Menswear!), is one of their favourite watering holes. How fortuitous to be about 50m away from each other! Great place for a drink on a sunny afternoon in Wellington. Friendly staff, good ambiance, good music. Choose up or downstairs they even have a balcony. Makes you feel a bit like being in London with a touch of sunshine and clean air.
Good range of decent (but not fabulous) beers. Gorillas burgers next door (a bit dry) but very convenient.
Excellent! Friendly knowledgeable staff. First floor terrace, perfect for a sunny afternoon. Wide range of own brewed craft beers. Core range and weekly one off brews, just to keep things interesting 😀. Flights available and 946ml ‘cannon’ of any draught available to take home. See photo
