I went here yesterday and the salad selection was amazing! Probably the best salad I’ve had in Wellington and I’ve been here for awhile. I highly recommend this cafe!
Awesome little cafe, we got the $10 earlybird breakfast and I couldn’t even finish it because it was so filling. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.
12/10. I couldn't recommend a better place to stop for a quick, healthy but most importantly DELICIOUS lunch!
A busy but vibrant cafe hiden away from the main street, filled with the friendliest staff you could ever imagine. A very wide selection of salads, I definitely will continue to come back to Rahzoo Cafe.
Favorite lunch cafe in the CBD !!
Large choice of salads to take away. An amazing selection of cabinet food, some sweat treats and great coffee, all of this at a very reasonable price and large plates!
Absolutely in love with this place! Highly recommended :)
My favourite place for a well-priced, healthy lunch! If I'm late, and miss out on salads - their blackboard and cabinet options are also fantastic!
Staff are always friendly, not just with customers, but also to each other - which is always good to see!
Salads that don't taste like 'salads'!!Fantastic for a working lunch! I go here regularly for their pick'n'mix salads and yummy cabinet food. Recommend the enchiladas :)
I don't think there are many places left in Wellington where you can have $10 bacon and eggs but that was today's special at Rahzoo and it surpassed expectations.
The staff are friendly and helpful, food is good and coffee is yum! I also like the vibe of the place; I've noticed in suburban cafes I feel a bit out of place if I don't fit into the mould of the area whereas we just blended into Rahzoo which made the experience nicer.
Rhazoo is a café, but they also do a takeaway salad bar.
There are always lots of salads on offer (around 10-12) and lots of options, especially for vegetarians (which I am not but it is a nice change sometimes).
The salads are freshly prepared that morning and they normally are ready to serve just before 12pm.
A small takeaway container is $9.50 and gives you three options, while a large is $12.50 and gives you four choices.
The servers always give you lots of salad; it’s well worth the money and one of the cheapest salad places around, and by far the nicest in my opinion.
Today I chose the small, and my choices were Moroccan chickpea salad, spinach bacon and avocado salad, and chicken salad.
Moroccan chickpea: Dates, slivered almonds, roast beetroot and pumpkin, chickpeas, some kind of mild spice (probably turmeric).
Spinach, avocado and bacon – also had red onion in it and often has croutons.
Chicken salad: Chicken, grapes, tomato, celery, carrot, mescaline, red onion, vinaigrette.
All the salads were delicious; the Moroccan one was a little dry perhaps but lovely flavours when eaten all together. The chicken is juicy and the vinaigrette is light and tasty – homemade, not from a bottle.
Will continue to be my favourite salad place. I will have to sit in one day and try their café menu.
Rahzoo is one of the few nice lunch places with friendly staff (especially, the Korean lady behind the counter) and good vegetarian options. Supplies are limited so don't be late!
The coffee is good and the people behind the counter are awesome. My work colleagues and I go every morning. Food is consistently delicious and good value. I pretty much live there!
One of a few places where their salads are sold out before lunch time is over. Razhoo has a huge focus on a number of salads that changes frequently. If you want a choice of salads, then it is best you get down there early for lunch. You can opt to eat in or take away. There is also a good selection of other counterfood items available as well as a food from a menu, all of which are at a reasonable price.

As long as I can find a carpark, this is a fabulous place to sit and eat or grab a collection of salads from the salad and take back to work. You must get there just before midday if you want to take advantage of a full salad bar selection, by 12.30pm its already beginning to sell out of the favourites. The staff are helpful, competent and efficient. They manage the influx of customers like a well oiled team.
This place does the BEST lunches in Wellington. The only problem is deciding what to order as there is often too many delicious choices. There is a good mix of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as choices for meat eaters. You can taste the freshness and quality of the produce Rahzoo uses. I'm hooked on their food.
Absolutely delicious range of salads and cabinet food. Really healthy choices with great variety. Service is OK, nothing special but the food is definitely one of a kind. Get in early, the line at lunch is huge!
Good food and service. However the atmosphere can be quite loud. Especially if Kirks are having a sale. Then the old birds will be chirping away about how they can get a tartan bow tie for a few hundred less.
Otherwise nice place to eat
Great range of salads and get in early Thursday for their fresh pinwheels!
The food is just delicious there ... and healthy. Their potato salad is highly addictive!
The restaurant itself has a pretty bad acoustic. Kind of hard to hold a conversation in there but you have take-away and service is always kind and fast.
And there is little board with inspiring quotes that will put a little smile on your face
Cheese Scone Review
A good looking Scone, an impressive height. Not much in the way of exterior crunch. Odd texture, light and yet chewy, maybe some egg has been used. Fairly bland, no herbs or discernable cayenne, light salt, nice cheese level. A competent but unexciting scone. 73/100
Nice underground venue, and friendly staff.
This cafe is underrated and you will not be disappointed! I ordered the chicken & leek risotto and it was delicious. There's two cash registers inside: dine-in restaurant or takeout salad bar. The takeout service can be busy at lunchtime, so arrive early unless you're prepared to dine-in.

A small and beautiful cafe located over Waring Taylor St.
Convenient location and easily approachable.
Well maintained. Good ambiance and comfortable atmosphere.
Limited space and seating which is very well organised.
Helpful and welcoming staff. Well timed and friendly service.
Good variety of food and drinks although the choice for vegans and vegetarians is limited only to vegan curry.
Delicious preparations. Good presentation. Table service. Offers takeaways.
Card as well as cash payments are accepted. Paywave facility is available at this location.
Good for groups, celebrations, family, kids and catch-ups.
Normally busy during lunch hours.
Handy location for takeaways or for a quick bite.
Outdoor seating is not available. Could not notice wheelchair accessible seating or high chair in plain view at this location.
Entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
There is no dedicated parking area available although ample street parking can be found around the entrance. Wheelchair parking is not available.
Could not spot any restroom in plain view at this location.
Liked the experience.
Great place for lunch. Food is simple but tasty and pretty well priced. Can be very busy like when I went but still managed to get a seat. No view as its below pavement level but that doesn't matter. Good atmosphere.
Best bacon and avocado open sandwich in Wellington. A must try for lunch. Amazing salad bar for take aways too. Highly recommend.
I like it because it's one of the few places you can actually get healthy salads. I don't love it because it's downstairs, the tables are very close together, and it gets very busy at peak times.
Always a great place to eat. Great selection of salads and tasty vegetarian options. Always busy at lunch time.
Great coffee & lunch time salad bar - though you've got to be in quick. The breakfast special 7 til 10am is great value.
The scooter in front of the store drew me in and the place had a calm atmosphere with friendly staff. The coffee was good and came at a lower than usual price which was nice
