Great atmosphere and high quality of food. The staff is super nice and prompt. The dish is decent, full of flavour and kind of Asian fusion style. But I'm afraid the portion sizes are not satisfying since my beef salad had several pieces of beef with little veggies. Otherwise, it's ok to have a bite of good food.
I've tried the steak, beef burger, chicken burger and steak sandwich. The food is delicious, big portions. Won't leave you hungry for sure.
Very good service too. They do the burger deal with a pint for lunch what's perfect.
The Hazy IPA was great. The smoking area is plenty seats. I have made some new friends from the regulars. Coco was a very nice lady.
Fantastic place to grab a drink, with excellent indoor and outdoor seating options, including areas protected from the wind (which is a handy thing in Wellington).
Excellent selection of craft beers on tap and the staff are always pleasant and helpful.
Nice bar to kick back, relax and enjoy a cold drink while having a chat. Nice surroundings and well set out seating areas. Nice ambiance.
I was with a work group to celebrate the successful completion of a major project. We pre ordered. Service was fast but latter became intrusive.
It was very noisy and I had difficulty hearing conversations in the group.
The food was OK, not bad but not great. The pork was slightly dry and tasted alright, chips were tasty and well seasoned.
It is OK for a work catchup but not me for a nice meal out.
Menu has a good combination of western and Japanese style meals and they're a decent size.
I try to have lunch at Cocos at least once a week, If I don't, I start to get withdrawal symptoms. I have had most of the items on the menu and would struggle to say which one is best as I've loved everything I've had there. I would however implore anyone visiting to start any meal with the Asian spicy chicken wings - easily the best in Wellington and the Chao shou, dumplings served is in a hot and spicy broth. Both dishes would easily be a great lunch, especially if you like spicy food. If your still hungry then the burgers are awesome, the Katsudon is fantastic, the Karaagei chicken salad is great, its just all good. Pays to get in early if your going for lunch. There is a good selection of craft beers on tap if your into craft beer (I'm not) and the staff always deliver great service. Definitely worth a visit
Nice place with a good vibe. Could be slightly cheaper and a bigger menu choice but overall the food and service was good
Friendly and helpful staff, and the food was excellent! I had a 250g scotch fillet (medium rare) and my wife was brave enough to try the 400g sirloin (medium). Both were perfectly cooked as ordered...I have no idea how they cooked that massive 400g steak to perfection, but they did!
Enjoyed it and the lass behind the bar was a Dynamo.
I visit Coco's for special occasions :) to enjoy a very nice meal with my family.
Perhaps the best vegan shepherds pie I have ever had. A chef who knows what they are doing. !
Amazing service from all staff on site. The food is also amazing. Will be a regular spot for sure
I arrived in Wellington, as a part of my sperm donation world tour of new zealand, and came across this little bar 🍸 and they were doing a $1 dumpling special, hands done the best dumplings I had in my life.
Came for a work night out and was really impressed with the food!... I ended up going with the steak which was cooked perfectly, would definitely go back here in future.
The price of the food was actually very reasonable especially when you consider the quality!
Service was also really good, would highly recommend.
