This place is absolutely amazing! I've been here many times now and every time it has been wonderful. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and authentic, the prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend to family and friends here..
Best thai food in town very authentic and fresh pad thai very delicious. Waiter were very friendly I would recommend thai house restaurant for good thai food
A bit hard to essay with a spoon and fork! The spring rolls were delicious as was the pad Thai with tofu, portions were generous, staff also had cute uniforms.
I recently went to Thai House for a BYO dinner with work colleagues. I thoroughly enjoyed the set menu we had, which came out promptly. At $25 it was also very reasonable. The establishment was clean and tidy to the eye, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
Despite our table getting a bit too merry towards 11pm, the staff were very polite and told us that they were closing in half an hour. We did not feel rushed to leave.
Full marks, as this is one of the better BYO restaurants I have been too.
Absolutely LOVE this restaurant. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is pleasant and the waiting staff are always polite and accurate when taking your order.
I would certainly recommend this restaurant. :D
Thai House is an authentic Thai restaurant, standard ambiance, seating for 30 people, and the best Pad Thai Noodles.
We went here on a Sunday evening, hungry for anything remotely edible, Thai House rose to the occasion with the Tangy Snapper, Pad Thai (Chicken), and Tom Yum soup. The snapper was an absolute delight, with the lemon-y sauce and perfect white meat, we forked out each and every bit of it. It proved a potential-best-dish for one of our chicken totaler friends too!
We ordered and reordered the Pad Thai, half out of hunger, and the other half out of greed for more of the brilliant flavour. They were gracious enough to keep the restaurant open beyond 10 pm, since we just wont let go!
A must visit place for Thai lovers, and seafood maniacs!
Went to Somtumthai with my wife on an early Sunday night and had great service. The food tasted very authentic and the restaurant had a good atmosphere. We ordered the pad kra-pao with minced pork and a fried egg as well as pad see ewe with beef, both medium spicy. I must say that they definitely had a good kick to them and have a nice sweat but weren’t overly spicy, which was great. I would recommend both dishes. Portion sizes were fairly large, perfect to split between 2 people. I would recommend trying this spot when in Wellington. Wish we were here for longer so we could try more dishes.
Very tasty! Got the mixed appies for 1 and pad Thai. The pad Thai wasn’t as good as I was expecting, but overall good meal. Service was average.
Went there today as couldn’t go to another Thai restaurant and was so glad I ended up there, best Thai food I’ve ever had in My life. The restaurant is small and a bit outdated looking but the food was so wonderful and delicious the flavour profile in the food was to die for. Added pork Rice the fried and they added so much meat. Will definitely go back again had the fried rice and beef noodle soup
Damn I really love this place haha
The food are so authentic and some menus are only at this restaurant!
The fried rice was a little bit saulty to me, but my boyfriend said it was good.
And the beef soup was amazing I need this every week!!!!
food was great, staff were super friendly. The food is on the spicier side so if you are unsure then order a spice level lower. There seemed to be quite a few fruit flies by my table in the back corner. This is my second time dining here and the first time it was not like that so it could be a temporary recent thing
Very tasty Thai dishes and Variety of Menu items some are quite authentic dishes. Service was a let down. We did a walk in and was not treated like we were welcome. No one came to check up on the table at all during the entire dinner. We had to order at the counter because the staff were taking forever to come to take the order. Quite a let down from the whole experience.
A small Thai restaurant in Cuba Mall, Cuba St., with an unassuming shop-front which can be easily missed if you are rushing by. However this little eatery deserves a visit because service is courteous and reasonably fast, more importantly the food is delicious, aromatic and would live up to the expectations of most customers. The Tom Yum soup was no exception and as the name suggests, did arrive piping hot, aromatic and so broth-fully satisfying on a cold night. We intend to sample more of their dishes and will keep you posted. In the meantime if you are in the Cuba Precinct and are looking for Thai culinary to titillate your taste buds in a cozy premise, central to Wellington's CBD, then look no further.
Had some delicious deep fried fish and a duck salad. Both the dishes were full of flavour, perfect amount of heat and tang, and good portion size. Loved both the dishes. The seafood lover in me was very satisfied. Really good food, and good customer service. Would love to go back to try out other options on the menu.
Great welcome and service was good , I ordered the two Chicken Pad Thai ‘s and wow the taste is so good Thankyou very much
Delicious food. The fried fish salad comes highly recommended.. Authentic Thai flavours, especially when ordered ‘Thai hot’.
