Chanced upon this place as it was near our Airbnb at the Glenside estate.
Had the OMG! ($29,breakfast platter) and breakfast bite ($7) and they are as good as they get. Great spot for a meal in a relatively quiet neighbourhood.
One of the few cafes in the area, the food taste fine and the outside area is great on a nice sunny day, but the price is on average 25% higher than any other cafes I've been to, including CBD cafes, and it made it hard to rate this place higher as the size and the taste of the food didn't reflect the higher price š
āļø Flat White - the milk foam is exquisite and thick, which meet my expectations
āļø Iced Coffee - it is kinda plain and the topping whipped cream is yummy but too rich. I couldnāt finish the whole glass but it worth the price.
āļø Service - the staff is super sweet and friendly; the service is prompt and good. Overall you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
We had breakfast today at Simmer Cafe. The best hot chocolate I ever had. Pulled pork burger, chicken panini and eggs Benedict smoked salmon are all delicious. The ambiance is very relaxing, a nice place to catch up and have a chat with friends. Itās great to have a cafe in the suburb so you donāt have to worry about parking. The food quality here is better than in the CBD anyway. The service is outstanding, it really shows that they love what theyāre doing. Itās only my 3rd time here but will be back for sure.

Really enjoyed our breakfast here. It was super packed but the staff were friendly and had great banter. Coffee was yum and the food was well above expectations. The serving of salmon I had was very generous and the hollandaise was devine. Eggs were perfect and toast crunchy and fresh. First time eating here and we were impressed. Will definitely be back!

Their food is full of flavour! I didnāt expect that a small cafe in a suburb would be my preferred place for Thai food. They have one Thai option, as far as I know, and itās amazing. Tandoori chicken in garlic naan.
My wife also enjoyed a pulled pork burger.
Good coffee too.
The only reason they lost a star is the limited seating during lunch hour. Thereās not much they can do about it, but guests should be aware. My family had to wait in the cold for our lunch, and then wait for people to leave so we can claim a spot inside.
Food and coffee is great and the cinnamon buns are my favourite. Downfall is that I find the staff arenāt the friendliest or well mannered, the guy thatās normally at the front counter doesnāt usually ever bother to say a word to me when I go up to order. I also find that the service is quite slow especially waiting for just a takeaway coffee.

This is a great local cafe - opens early has a nice relaxed vibe - solid food and helpful staff. Havana brand coffee.
Fabulous brunch visit - our drinks and food were all delivered very quickly, even during a busy Saturday brunch service. Fabulous French toast! Would love to see some sun umbrellas outside as it gets roasting hot under the verandah.

My regular cafe that I have been going to for years! They know my order when I walk through the door and are super friendly. Yummy food too! We certainly are lucky in Churton Park to have this awesome cafe!
We went to Wellington to buy a car. The cafe was recommended by the seller. Awesome coffee and Bacon & Eggs. Highly recommend. AAA+++
Wide enjoyable selection of menu and cabinet food. The fish and salad was lovely. Coffee really nice. Just needs cream/yoghurt offered with passionfruit and lime tart. It was very cold sitting inside with cafe doors open sadly, despite merino layers.
