Best little bakery in this part of Wellington. Better than Nada but with a smaller range. And the custard pie is one of the best I've had anywhere. Kids love the shoestring fries too.

Perfectly poached eggs, beautifully plated and tasty French toast. Affordable, cozy, lovely staff.
What a lovely range of food to have to decide about. Something for everybody - dine in or take away. Khandallah is fortunate to have this Cafe.
Ordered an Americano coffee too go with a pie. It wasn't that busy but they must have forgotten the coffee as it didn't arrive until I asked twice and had already finished the pie. To their credit they did give me a voucher for a free coffee next time.

The bakery punches well above it's weight with excellent pies, from the standard mince and cheese through to vege or chicken.
Sweet treats are a little person favourite, especially the biscuits.

The best classic kiwi bakery/cafe in this area. Steak and cheese pie was perfect and fries were so good and cheap for a huge bowl. My partner ordered the classic kiwi breakfast and it was just what you would want also coffee was 10/10.
Delicious and wide select of pastries, desserts and savory options. It will take me some time to eat through all the options I want to try here. Flat whites are decent here. There are a couple of tables outside as well as a patio area heading the shops and a few more inside if you want to dine in. W
Bought a mince pie for my lunch today, and have to say it ranks amongst the best I’ve had in quite some time. Pastry not to thick, filled to the brim with mince and the gravy was just the right consistency. Highly recommend.

Very cute and friendly Cafe in the middle of Khandallah! Seconding the delicious cheesecake, potato top pies and cabinet food. The staff are all happy to be there and would run to the front to open doors for mums with prams.

Best baked cheesecake I've ever had. Berry cheese cake is pretty good too. Coffee isn't to bad either. Staff are friendly. Front of house guy has a sense of humor.
