Weekend visit with family for a delightful brunch. Rather busy but we found room to fit in. Service was quick & easy. The food came out, well timed with hot & cold drinks.

The toys for the kids are a nice touch. Staff were very polite despite having just finished dealing with a real Karen and food was great with the right portion size.

We took the ferry from Queens Wharf across the harbour to Day's Bay and lunch at the pavilion. Mid-week not too busy, good service, enjoyed our meals and drinks. Lovely outdoors area for children to play and views of the harbour through the trees. As cyclists, always look for secure areas and the Pavilion has bike lockup bars, there's also more directly across the road by the wharf.

An actual fireplace, that burns wood and not the fake ones in Auckland and Wellington. The seafood chowder was decent and so was the coffee. If you are European, as we are, you will like this place while you await your ferry. The folk here were also decent and welcoming, unlike the many disappointing services we had in Auckland.

Great atmosphere and friendly service in an amazing location serving cold beer and great pizza. With better quality mozzarella would be five stars.

Good place for food. Lots of entertainment things for kids (outdoors). We had breakfast and had some office work. Got a corner table with our laptop and worked comfortably while enjoying coffee and pizza. Fish and chips was tasty.

I regularly frequent this restaurant and love the views and outdoor areas. Icecream and desserts are great, will a wine.

It is one of the great destinations with nice character and history after walk or cycling around the bays. It offers beautiful grounds and a cosy venue to chill out. Good place for catching -up.

Easily the best spot where to hang out near Eastburne (there is nothing in Eastbourne, no idea why people choose to live there tbh). Easy to come here even from Wainui. The location is great: good carpark, big area for kids to play, table outside for summer and indoor for winter, and located in front of the ferry pier. The indoor looks like a cabin in mountain, it just feels strange because you are on the sea. Pizza is good and you get a $15 deal on Wednesday for large pizzas and the topping are really good. As cons, I can say the pizza dough doesn't get to rest as much as it should and you feel it. Also the normal size is a small and the large is a normal. Other than this, I strongly recommend this place if you live either in Eastbourne, Petone or Wainui.

Great place to go with kids for lunch - they enjoyed outside whike adults taljed while foid prepared. All was good, hot & tasty except the bowl of dirty fries - it was awash with ?juices? from the pulled pork it was served with making the fries a sad sorry sodden waste.

Ordered fish n chip and 2 pizza plus coffee. Too good. On a cold day, they put on the open wood fire, too nice.
