I had never tried Ethiopian food ever but will definitely be back for more! We opted for the meat and vegetable platter for two. The injera (bread) was incredibly satisfying, filled with a delightful mix of ingredients. The injera was a slight change of taste from I’m used to - it’s a bit more on the sour side, but nonetheless it is paired beautifully with the fillings in the middle. Despite the restaurant being busy on a Saturday night, the staff were accommodating enough to seat us outside with a heater.

A gorgeous quirky hidden gem. Menu simple but holey moley was it rich and tangy and filling. Loved it. Great prices too :)

I adore coming here. Their Vegan Platter for two is sensational! I highly recommend coming here to eat with your hands (or a spoon if you must) and soak up the gorgeous environment inside or outside. Their Injera is tangy and sensational.

Super super loved their Injera Bread. First time for me for Ethopian food and it was super delicious. Hearty and warm. Ordered the Dorja Wot (Chicken) as most of their menu was only beef and I don't take beef. But not disappointed at all. My friend got the Beef Tibs and smelled so good!! Will be back!!!!

Very friendly staff even they were so busy. I could say full house. Very good price for a dinner. And I'm still thinking about their sour bread 🍞. Limited space. Lucky we booked. Totally recommended.

Stunningly tasty food - I had the ground chickpea spiced soup and it was one of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten. Every bite was excellent. I am genuinely impressed.

Highly recommend this place, it's a great little joint, mix of tables from cosy 2 seats to long table for a party. Nice vibe, relaxed and very welcoming. Got the vegan combo for 2 - variety of foods and traditional bread, which is gluten free. Also veg and meat options.Generous portions, super delicious and not too spicy. Was $36, really great price for such great food. Will absolutely be back, thanks so much

Ordered the vegan banquet to share between two, and the value we received was mind blowing!! A multitude of flavours and delicious healthy vegetably concoctions for us to enjoy with the absolutely delicious, lemony, light, lovely textured injera bread, left us completely full but still wanting more! Amazing introducer to Ethiopian cuisine which I’ve always wanted to try, and absolutely lovely staff to top it off. Thank you Mother of Coffee, will be coming back for more!!!!!!

Yummy but mild compared to other Ethiopian places we have eaten. If you like spicy food, make sure to ask.

Such a delicious place!! First time trying ethiopian and absolutely loved it. Got the vegan combo - which serves two but I reckon could be enough for three with room left for dessert later - and the minchet abish wot i think? The winner of the night was definitely the injera.. such a lovely soft sour bread i could just eat that and be happy
