Five stars for the food !! Lamb shank is a must-try from the main menu. The starter platter has a good variety. Cocktail options are limited, but the bar menu is elaborate.

This is a local for me and have been many times, the service is generally really good. Occasionally it’ll get really busy and the table service for drinks can dry up a bit but it’s just a quick trip to the bar.

Came here to try their Burger Wellington entry and, for the second year, it was fabulous! The server was kind and enthusiastic, the atmosphere felt very warm and local.
Yes, it’s off the beaten path if you live or are staying downtown but I strongly recommend Khandallah Trading Co.

Tuesday night quiz night always enjoyable. Hard to get a table, even harder to get the top prize. Often I go for the special board if eating as there is a good variety and great flavours.
Went for steak night with the family and didn't disappoint. Relaxed atmosphere (we sat in the outdoor space), friendly service, delicious margaritas and tasty steak :)
Went in during the lunch time on Wednesday. I have always loved the place and the food has always been great.
Very friendly local pub, generous food with a slightly Indian theme, though the flavours play it safe for Kiwis. The staff here are always willing to try and find space for you even if they're really busy. We arrived 10 minutes before lunch ended and the chef was totally happy to keep the kitchen op
I came in for lunch on 13/05/23 with my husband and kids. Great service. The food was brought out quickly, looked and tasted great. Also great good options for children. Nice atmosphere too. We will definitely be back.
Great service, great food and large portions, clean restaurant and bathrooms. Good vegetarian and gluten free options. Busy but quick service and food. Would visit again.
Another pub another burger, mad dash to get another burger in for Wellington On A Plate. Good place for all the locals as it appeared there were a number of regulars drinking and eating when we got in. Popular place in the evenings so you may have trouble getting a carpark. From what I could see
