Thanh Giong Pho - Wellington - Photo album

Taste: 4/5 Portions: medium Price: $-$$ The duck pho was oily but tasty, and the suck itself was tough and chewy.
Wonderful Pho. Glass Noodle Duck Pho was a favourite.... such beautiful flavours coming through in the broth. We also got a spicy pho with pork and beef. 5 stars... we'll be back!!
Authentic flavours, highly recommended. Definitely get the spring rolls, they're more complex than I expected, with shrimp and pork. Also, excellent service. The host have us hand written directions to some nearby parks. My hope in humanity is restored.
On a cold winter evening, we got a friendly welcome here. Steaming pho bowls were served quickly and proved delicious. Over my expectations! A Vietnam culture decoration restaurant with really local and nice food. Super recommend the Chef’s Special- Roasted duck rice noodle soup. ❤️
Great, the best Vietnamese restaurant in Wellington. Awesome Grilled fish with sweet & sour chilli sauce on rice. Reasonable price!
I had their chef’s specialty roasted duck pho which was delicious. Paid $18 for this big bowl of serving.
If you are going for quantity, Noodle ThanhGiong is a place for you. The portion was so huge that I could only finish one third of it. I ate roasted duck rice noodle soup. It tasted like street food that you can in Asian countries. I may try the other dishes if I am near there.
Open until late at night... comfort food with big portion
Great authentic Vietnamese food! Hue noodle is awesome with soft noodle and tasty beef. Noodle rolls are great with excellent sauce.
Had the chef’s special of duck pho and it was superb. Tucked away in the middle of the city and nice cosy atmosphere.
Enjoyed the food here. I got takeaway scotch fillet and the fresh spring rolls. The fillet had good flavour and was tender, the spring rolls were amazing. I thought this restaurant was great value. The guy at the counter who served me was quirky and funny and friendly. I will definitely go back here
