I haven't even finished my meal yet but I can't wait to give this place 5 stars. From the moment I called to book, then the moment we walked in followed by the ongoing excellent customer service....I have to say this place needs to be on your list if you want a friendly place that has great food and
Popped in just for drinks on a Thursday evening, and it was surprisingly quiet for such a cool and central place. Still, the bar staff were friendly, it wasn't too expensive and sitting in the window was a great spot to watch Cuba Street go by.
Cool little place. Nice outdoor area for when it's not pouring down with rain. Nice indoor area for when it is. It doesn't advertise itself as a craft beer bar, so wasn't surprised when the tap selection wasn't amazing, but still a nice place to sit for a while and have a pint or two.
This place gets a lot of stick from some of the locals, but I really don't see why. I suppose it's a little grimey compared to some of the other more 'hipster' pubs around the area, but it's miles cheaper than most of the others to. There's a pretty good selection of drinks and there's plenty of s
Good environment. Pretty much standard pub fare food offerings but with a bit of a kick. Goat cheese, honey and walnut toasted sandwich was delicious. Lunch menu also includes homemade pies and poutine.. Would like to see a few more craft beers available
Spent a great evening there. The waiters where cool (shout out to Dugedy, even if you do not work anymore there), the cider and beer was good and plenty. MY mate threw up, he says it was the burger, I say it was his stomach - he doesn't drinks normally :)
Outstanding service from the young man Fergo behind the bar who also served me a Bloody Mary that was to die for. He also went out of his way to make sure the spice was a great level for me -EPIC!! :) Much love x
Came here for their Tuesday night pub quiz. Spacious bar, good quality pub food, and reasonably priced drinks. Can't go wrong here if you're after a quiet after work beer and burgers
Karaoke at this place on a Saturday night is awesome, the singing from inside the bar can be heard on the street.... The hidden talent around Wellington really gets a chance to show their stuff here with all the patrons singing along with the performer on stage.
I always make a point to eat here when I'm in town. Great beer selection and awesome bar food. Best curly fries and chicken wings I've ever had!
Love the vibe at the grannies who are totally BAD ASS! Always fun, especially the dance music. Great place to meet friends for happy hour drinks and nibbles.
Good atmosphere. Music isn't so loud you have to yell. Drinks are reasonably priced. Food is a little on the expensive side but tastes good
