Great cafe in the lovely setting of the park with very friendly staff. Very child friendly with an indoor kids play area (not enclosed), good food and coffee at reasonable prices and right next door to the playground. It's our regular go to local cafe!
My daughter and I had brunch at the cafe yesterday. Lovely meal and great service as always
Fabulous location; great food; value for money; friendly staff; satisfied repeat customer
Good good, helpful staff, great views of the park.
I love this Cafe the staff are very friendly. They are always Polite and helpful.
Great people and always good service. Great work team!
Great food. Always busy and definitiely worth a visit.
Good place for a quick coffee if the city is a little to far.
Fantastic food, friendly staff.. great place!
Poached Eggs and Bacon with a Hot Chocolate after swimming was really good. Will definitely be back. Thanks.
Awesome friendly staff, great food and good value. Great selection also. Great coffee. Highly recommend.
Have been here a few times for breakfast and have never had a bad meal. Coffee is good and service is good. I had the eggs benedict and my partner had the French toast. Both were cooked well. Nice right by the park for a walk afterwards.
Great Cafe. Delicious food and friendly service. They don't usually take too long with their food and are almost always busy. They have outside tables where you can sit in the sun or an inside lounge where you can relax. They also have a kids corner play area which is a great way to let the adults have a chat whilst the kids play. Been there countless times now and almost always very good. Sometimes they can be a little slow when they are extremely busy but the food is often well worth waiting for.
They could improve by hiring a few more staff on the extremely busy days to help with the mass of people. Another thing that would really profit the store is if they installed a fireplace in the lounge upstairs. Thy could light it in the winter and it would attract people to the cafe then for the warmth around the fire. Not that it's ever really cold in there though. It's just a nice idea.
Karori Park on a sunny day is a nice place to walk humans and dogs. Cricket and soccer go on, kids play, dubious characters fly drones and people simply go to the Karori Park cafe.
Occupying the downstairs floor of the cricket clubrooms, the cafe has a few tables inside and some outside. Outside its dog friendly, and inside the wait staff and the lady behind the till are human friendly.
We've had coffees (revive), tea (t LEAF) and the odd toasted panini - all are pleasant. There's also a good selection of slices, muffins, and toasted sandwiches, as well as a reasonable breakfast and lunch menu. I hadn't really appreciated the range of dishes that the cafe provides - it is impressive.
So its a pleasant cafe in a pleasant environment - not an edgy foodie destination but like I say, on a sunny day its worth a visit, and you can walk off your, or the dog's, calories in the process. (although at 6km/hr you'll need to go round the park approximately 6 times to burn off one muffin - but don't quote me on that - it depends on your weight).
A great place for breakfast with the wife or partner.
Can be a little noisy, due to a lack of space, and it pays to be patient, however the staff try very hard to please.
My Tip: Enjoy eggs benedict or pan cakes!
I love to stop here for a coffee and slice when my partner is playing cricket! The coffee is always great and the slices are generous! It is dog-friendly, so you can sit outside with your furry friend (they have water out for them too). Very good family atmosphere.
Great place, Great service and coffee and food fantastic. Small area for the kids to play in inside. Service is always with a smile.
Over summer it will be open on Monday.

Great place, heaps of tables, the food is good, it's at a great location with the playground next door. Always friendly stuff and the children's fluffys are the best
Nice coffee. Breakfast menu has all the usuals, portions on the small side. Tea-room feel with the vintage location, right on the park. Really nice spot.
I've came to this place since I was a young child, the people working here have always been super helpful and kind towards everyone. The food is also pretty nice.
One of our favourite brunch places- set in the park. They do a great range of vegetarian dishes including vegetarian breakfast. The staff are just lovely kind and welcoming. The nicest staff in Wellington. The food is fresh and beautifully cooked.
Plenty of seats and carparking (apart from Saturday sport). Friendly service. Nice coffee. Didn't have any food.
Very friendly staff, service with a smile, great food, great coffee. I've been coming here for over ten years. It's still an awesome team, sadly not coming in as much, moved out of area more like visiting family, you'll find that they have many loyal customers over the last 10 years. Busy most weekends with sports ( cricket and football) been played here. Karori cricket club, Waterside soccer club. Has a good running track as well, plus access to the Skyline track.
Great place to hang out for a few hours. Good food. Not particularly great wheelchair access.
Good food on the park. Heaps of history to browse between bites. Lovely surroundings.
Lovely location in Karori Park. Great value, and the slices are awesome.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend brunch/lunch/afternoon tea. Fresh cabinet food along with cooked meals. Favourite is corn fritters, best ever!
