Place is outstanding, has cool ornaments and great atmosphere, food was amazing,pork was right on the money, staff are more then happy to help if you don't know the type of beer you want ( it's all good in my opinion), the beer glasses have a gauge on it
I’ve been drinking Panhead Sandman and Rat Rod Hazy IPAs all over NZ for the past 3 weeks, so it was fun to go to the Wellington brewery. It was pretty quiet about 2:00 pm when we got there, but it was getting busier by the time we left. In addition to our beers, we got some of the best nachos I’ve ever had — Smoked Bean Nachos with guacamole and sour cream plus pulled pork smothered in smoked stout cheese. Wow! So good!
Our server was great, too — I didn’t catch his name but he was friendly and helpful.
It was about a 5-minute walk from Te Papa Museum and other waterfront attractions.

There's a good selection of beers; obviously there's the Panhead stuff you'd expect, but also some small batch stuff that's pretty good. I highly recommend the Nayslayer.
The food isn't too bad. I had the vegan burger, which was interesting. The chicken wings and fried chicken were also very good. The only downside is the place gets pretty dead after 9 (it seemed like they were closing up).
Yet another good start to our Wellington on a plate quest. Panhead Tory delivered not only fantastic food but a convivial atmosphere. Tried a the Supercharger and well I've forgotten the other IPA but it was a goodie. Happily spend more time in this joint.
Awesome beer, with awesome people. The ambience is pretty much what you get at any other craft brewery. As long as the beer is good, they will draw the crowd.
Busy on a Tues with Quiz Night. Had to sit outside. Therefore kinda sandflyish and mozzies. They put the heaters on which helped with the cold. Beer we had was Panhead Supercharger, fantastic beer.
You order via a VR code. So depersonalises the service a little. Food was kinda good. Had some Jalepeno Bites, spicy and great. Loaded fries with smokey pulled pork. The meat was great. Shoestring fries got cold real quick. Nachos were tasty but bland, some spicy sauce on the side would help. Nachos had plenty of sour cream and guacamole.
Panhead has been my favorite brand of craft beer in New Zealand and Super Charger and Hazy IPA after 2021 are always my first choice.
Came in for a coffee, stayed for a beer. I'm a big fan of Panhead and it was nice to try a couple of their session brews which aren't available in my hometown of Christchurch. The service was friendly and efficient, the fireplaces made indoor and outdoor seating feel very cosy and while I didn't order food, the kitchen smelled amazing! Coffee was good too. Definitely going back next time I'm in Welly.

The WOAP was very good. The spring rolls weren't my first choice but the popcorn chicken was sold out. The food was great!

Amazing ambiance, they have a very easy way of ordering and paying for food and drinks from your table. The nachos were amazing and went down a treat with the beers!
