Great food and staff. Prices are probably standard with other burger places. Nice vibe. More room for dining in would be nice. Cool music, great overall experience. Would definitely recommend and go back again.
Finally a burger joint in Wellington making a proper sized burger. Started with the Boom Burger, can't wait to work my way through the rest of the menu. Big Bang coming up next. If I could give you a 6th star for using good old Makikihi spuds for your fries I would. Mighty South Canterbury represent!
Massive burgers and very tasty. Fries were also great. Pricey but worth it in my opinion. I hope this new burger joint in Wellington takes off well!
Had Boom Burger for the first time last night and it's definitely one of the better burgers I've had. Reasonably priced for the size of the burgers - was struggling to finish mine! I recommend getting anything with the hot sauce - it's lit!
We had the Big Bang Burger and the combo of the fried chicken where you could genuinely tell it had been marinated in buttermilk and add in the sriracha and homemade pickled gherkins was beautiful! Big flavours but they worked really well!
We followed up with the loaded beef fries and again it was absolutely beautiful! Pickled chillies, good sized bits of beef and not oily fries sounds great... tastes even greater!
wow, burgers out of this world, fair prices and fast service!! definitely my new burger joint on Courtney after a night out! :)
I don’t know which genius came up with the Lulu burger, but that shit is glorious. What a burger
The Big Bang burger was so tasty and had just the right amount of spice. Chips had a flavoursome seasoning and it was nice to have different options for dips so tried a couple as a friend got a different flavour. Friends loved their shroom and Lulu burgers too. Will definitely be back again.
Great spot for some good burgers if you’re looking for a fast snack until late night. My burger (Boom Burger) was very delicious. The fries were too salty and deep fried. Can recommend, if you’re drunk on the weekend around the CBD of Wellington.
Pretty serious quality burgers if you are a burger person like myself, try them off the Groupon which works out $7 for a great burger. The Boom sauce is something else! I'll definitely be going back to try out the other burgers on their menu. Great staff and service.
Mmmmm so good. The loaded fries were very satisfying and the fish burger I had was tasty but the bun was overwhelming the whole thing. A few dollar coins more than burger fuel, but not any better.
Burgers are excellent. Overall, management could be better. Signs advertising $5 mini burgers from 12-2 are left out even at night which is ambiguous. Some staff show more experience than others but generally it can be a bit understaffed and busy.
There are no fixed closing times and I have come at night several times to find the place closed.
Well worth a visit, just don't rely on it being your only choice.
A new gourmet burger restaurant with a fairly basic menu but with some personality. The place itself is very bright and decorated nicely and you can eat in as well. At peak times they need more than 2 workers, because they are quite slow at making burgers, but it still too early to judge them on that since its so new. The staff are great and the burgers are huge and delicious (this is coming from me and two others I was with). Its kind of reminds me of Burgerfuel. It's a tad on the expensive side but this place isn't supposed to be a fast-food competitor. Would definitely recommend people try it out.
Had the Mr.Bombastic burger and it's was so good! Crisp pickles and covered in mayo + Jamaican jerk sauce. You can't miss it. As a lover of burger I cannot recommend it highly enough. And don't even get me started on the loaded fries!
American style burgers, but have their own flavour, super tasty. Got my order within 2 or 3 minutes, super quick! Small space, but I'd totally pop past to grab takeaway anyway. Will definitely return!
Unique taste especially for boom sauce.
Decent burgers with a relatively short wait time. It may be a bit expensive but I enjoyed the food nonetheless. In the middle of town so it has a great location from attractions (Few minutes walk away from the beach and Te Papa for example).
Very nice burgers, not the normal type that you'd expect. One of the burgers had cooked capsicum which had a really great taste to it. But decent prices burgers for the area. Worth a try!
Best burgers in Wellington. The mushroom burger is amazing and I like how they come in a mini size.
You can get the burgers to eat at Lulu's next door - they are on the Lulu's menu :)
Absolutely champion! Without a shadow of doubt the nicest burger and loaded fries I have ever had, you definitely pay for what you get! Wait time was optimal for what we ordered. Once again, champ!!
Friendly and delicious. Cutlery not disposable pladtic
