Cool little (tiny) shop. Amazing customer service and nice fresh food. Not at all crowded. Lacked the spark or difference that would have let me give it that fifth star.
The sushi was good. The real MVP is the owner who is one of the friendliest people I've ever met. He took the time to greet every customer with a huge smile and little chat. He instantly brightened up my day with his warmth and I could tell all the other customers felt the same.
It's a hidden little place, I never noticed it before today. Such a friendly staff member and the sushi was half price when I went there! I'm not sure what is called but I also got this deep-fried curry thing, and I highly recommend. Very good value for the price.
Large excellent pieces of salmon sashimi for a very reasonable price. I've been to a lot of the sushi places around Wellington, and IMO Domo Sushi is one of the best. The staff are always very friendly and talkative, the sushi tastes really nice and is well presented, and they have some good flavours which you would t find at the other sushi stores.

Tiny place, so don't expect a huge variety (I know some reviewers have strange expectations sometimes which is a bit unfair to the eatery), but what they do have has been fresh tasting, prices average, and the staff are friendly. Never very crowded either, so you can easily pop in if you're crunched
Sushi and dumplings are tasty and moderately priced, but I always come back for the lovely service. The employees are very wholesome and friendly :)
