Hidden gem. Easily the cheapest and good quality food in town. Visited at night and there are 5-6 stalls open. Korean, Steak, Chinese, Vietnamese, Sushi, Northern Chinese. Some stalls did not accept credit card. The art work around is amazing.

Good Place to get some of the Asian Cuisines at low cost. Must visit and try some of the dishes. Please contribute to them for upliftment of their life.

Great little place for all kinds of Asian food. It's very similar to high street eatery on Christchurch except for Asian food. Nice, cheap, tasty, what more do you want?

Looks like a great collection of Asian food. The food smelled great but we didn’t end up eating there. Hygiene standards did look questionable.

You can try oriental foods here. I love Vietnamese Banh Mi with ham and beef. The chef cook very well. Will come back with my family and try all.

We unfortunately haven't been here for 5 to 6 years but the food is still very yummy and there are many different types to choose from. The shop staff are especially friendly and helpful.

Quite easy to spot as this is just located at the heart of Wellington CBD. Great variety of affordable cuisine under one roof and the whole place was really clean. Here you can find Japanese, Korean and Indian dishes and much more. I may be biased but the Filipino food here was really good and would highly recommend for anyone to try. One of the must-visits for anyone looking for good food at a cheap price.

Great selection of market place food. The wait will depend on who you buy from. I ordered a Pad Thai from one stall and it was ready in 10 mins. My wife ordered tacos and hers took 30 mins. Both were delicious.

What an amaizing place to grab dinner for a family with different tastes. BBQ pork and BBQ Chicken from one of the stall holders was tender and full of flavour. It is such a pity that Covid has driven many of these stalls to close down...support your locals Wellington. Truly impressive!👍

Hidden from the normal streets of Wellington you will find an amazing foodcourt. There are plenty of Asian cultural foods to choose from and various prices to tempt your pocket. The feeling is very street food market. Even the seating feels like it, a little tired. Serves is not quick during peak hours so expect a little delay in receiving your order. Other than that it is a pleasant surprise and pace for your taste buds.

My love for Capital Market only grows as time passes. Now with only several stalls holding down the fort, Capital Market isn't as popular as it used to be. I now consider it a hidden gem that people need to rediscover. Even though there are only a few stalls left, they all do such exceptional food that you really can't go wrong with what yoyu choose. My two favourite places here are Noodle Man, who specialise in Chinese noodle soups and Lemongrass Kitchen, one of the cheapest and heartiest Vietnamese places in all of Wellington. Noodle Man was my consistent favourite place to go when I needed some hot soup for under $18. You can get their cheapest bowl of noodles that for around $11 which is vegetarian friendly. Lemongrass Kitchen is one of the best for value Vietnamese places you can find in Wellington. You can get a decently sized bowl of Pho for only $14 !! Their dumplings were amazing that I nearly went back to order more (I did not as I was so full from my meal but, the temptation was there!) Please support Capital Market. They just need redecorating and maybe some music so it doesn't feel so quiet. I would hate to see this place disappear.
