I'd been to the zoo and was heading to meet friends. I needed a quick lunch and McDs was a good option on the way.
I ordered The Clubhouse Chicken - Grilled ($9.50).
The girl who served me was very friendly and helpful.
I came out real quick which was good.
The burger itself was fine, didn't blow my socks off. Bun was soft, bacon was good, but I think it lacked something. Maybe some ketchup or relish. But it was ok.

You don't know what you had, until it's gone.
I spent a lot of time in this McDonald's over my five years incarcerated nearby. Now I realise how lucky I had it. This is an amazing McDonald's, fully equipped with student discounts, a playground, self-order machines, a separate McCafe - staffed by one of the best and nicest barristers in Wellington - and also home to the only Create Your Own McDonald's Burgers & Sundaes in Wellington. A bloody good Maccas indeed.
Good service from the staff when I have eaten here. You can order over the large touch screens as well as creating your own premium burger. A+
So, family is on the gluten load to do a Coeliac test.... haven't had Maccas for an extraordinarily long time and have craved a Big Mac and good old Hamburger for a looooooong time. Ordered a Mac Attack and a Hamburger, was chuffed at the thought of having the extra Big Mac Sauce for the chips (or to sneak into the Hamburger) but the buggers forgot to put it in there!!! and they forgot serviettes... crickey. Food was just the same as I remember though... I emailed them about that Big Mac Sauce.... Hope they send me a couple of squeezies!

Mcdonalds is Mcdonalds.
However what set aside my visit was upon asking if the restaurant was table service ( like some are) and the server saying no, I told her I'd come back, all good.
However, the attendee noticed I was dealing with an unsettled child so offered to deliver to the playground area. This was a big deal to me because little did she know;
- it was my sons 3rd birthday
- He was tired and over it, having come from the zoo
- We aren't from Wellington
- he is non-verbal Autistic
This simple gesture set aside my other 1000 visits to Maccas.
The food was good and fresh, Burger wasn't skimping on sauce or pickles, chips were nice.
The only negatives was the playground could do with a clean (rubbish present) and it was a bit overwhelming with high school kids?? (I guess they can visit on lunch breaks)

Went to McDonald's Basin Reserve late on Tuesday night through the drive-thru (first time at McDonald's in a long time). The service from the drive-thru staff (taking the order, taking payment and the 2 who provided the drinks and food) was second to none. Such friendly and happy crew, and the quality of the McDonald's (which can be touch and go at times) was excellent! For around about midnight, all the food was fresh and hot, tasty and (even down to the drinks!).

I'd say McD is a great place to grab a quick meal or snack. If you’re looking for a fast-food restaurant offers good food and excellent service, McDonald’s is the place to go.
No wait tym to pickup orders.
Very competent employee at the drive-through counter.
Fast service ,they don't mess up orders like other maccas do.

Compared to Johnsonville site, this one is a lot better. Better staff, better management and better service. If you need something during such hours, it's worth to drive to this site.

Delicious and nutritious the cleanliness is impeccable. The staff ever so friendly and so welcoming. One of the bests Macca’s in Wellington
I love going here after a hard day at work, always in and out quickly and they never miss any of my order. Always perfect 10/10
Food was nice and fresh. We had our meal delivered to the table abd the service was great, guy was super friendly and polite.
Had a lovely time with my son and daughter, great place to eat, nice people around, great food, fast service, nice staff.

Very good apart from some guy from the public yelling at a staff member near the toilet area so we wouldn't use the toilets, this made the visit a little uncomfortable
Hot chocolates were ok. Noone cleaning the tables though. Bit messy
Was a good visit. Very full with after school kids. But they were polite and a happy noise
