Always a good sign when a place is busy with locals.
I'm so happy I went in here to find the old Mark Ave fish n chip owners! Really missed their FnCs. As aways they are super friendly, fast and the food was as yum as I remember.

These legends are the only Fish & Chips shop in Newlands that can make good food. The chips are always cooked perfectly, and the fish cakes are DELISH.

We’re local and I’ve always been interested in trying this take away out, we’ll I’m pleased I did tonight, fish and chips for the kids and they were well impressed, prices were similar to those take outs in nearby Johnsonville, would definitely recommend, thanks guys
Family favourite @The New Dragon. The variety of Chinese dishes is great and they do a generous serving of chips. Portions are a good size, normally 3 dishes feeds 6 of us.
Ordered 3 fish 2 scoops and 3 hotdogs. Pretty cheap the chips are amazing. perfectly cooked and the fish is amazing, best fish iv had for ages. Good hotdogs too! only took them 5 mins to cook it aswell
Yum! Very impressed with the flavours and variety of foods. We ordered an orange beef, nasi goreng, a crumbed terakihi fillet and couple of scoops of chips.
My husband liked the spice level of the orange beef and the fact it came with broccoli - win!

Nicely cooked chips and good sized pieces of fish. Best I've had in the Newlands/Johnsonville area. The Chinese dishes are very generous in size and are well priced.
