Great place for bespoke cocktails. Bartender is extremely knowledgeable about cocktails and their history. Cocktails were very well priced at about $20 each.

What an awesome evening we had. The NFPH is such a great spot. Once it got dark outside the place revealed its atmosphere which is amazing. We had cocktails which after a chat with our bartender about what we might like arrived and tasted heavenly. Highly recommended if you want a night away from the norm.

This place is a bit Special. 1920 vibe. Little darker and felt exclusive. Neat customer service. Our server was lovely and knowledgeable. Helped us choose customized drinks to suit our tastes. The Cocktail person was a joy to watch make drinks. Looks like a perfectionist who loves his job. Heaps of quality details around this spot to enjoy. Real plants. Old school luxury I would say. Fun spot to discover.

What a find! The absolute best customer experience I’ve had in a bar ever. The staff were super knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We had an amazing experience with cocktails customised to the individuals taste! I was with business partners brainstorming customer service initiatives and the staff here made us rethink what is fantastic service. Unbelievable. Thank you!

Was looking for a speakeasy bar, and Night Flower came up as top contender twice, so off we go. Great decorations, can use with a little bit more lighting/and perfume candles during the evening though. Drinks took 30 minutes, we were warned, it was not to my taste but my partner non alcoholic one was great, my friends didn’t like theirs. However I was happy with the bill, it wasn’t bad consider there was no menu, and they made to order/ hand squeezed an all. Would recommend for first time visitors in Welly.

Right as you open the door Night flower takes you to a different place. Velvet reds black wood you know you are in for a good night. Love how they don't have a menu and they tailor made based on your desire and their skills combined you know you are on a pro league with these kind of approach and talent. The service was very cool, approachable and very knowledgeable you know you are in good hands and you can never go wrong. We were very comfortable discussing what we like from sweet or savoury to citrus flavour profile to different base of bourbon or champagne and they will whip they're magic wands and create a cocktail tailored just for you how cool is that. You can always come back to night flower and always have something new. It was a great experience and would love to come again.

A little slow due to an unfortunate short staffed night, however the punch and the cocktails are absolutely worth it even with the wait I encountered. Calm and charming atmosphere as well as overall almost New Orleans like vibe with the tarot velvet balcony forged iron candle lit space.

Very very cool place, though I feel like I didn't quite get the experience I wanted. With no menu at all and just the waitress asking questions it was hard to know what options were even on the table. Ended up with a tequila/mezcal cocktail that was nice but not outstanding, same with a flavoured caipirinha. The punch however was stunning, didn't catch the name of it but it was the first one the waitress mentioned. 10/10. It was quite dark and only lit by candles which was very cool. Drinks took about 20 minutes to come out with very few people in the building.

Delicious cocktail served from a friendly, experienced bartender. The ambience was incredibly cool; it definitely has the old, secret speakeasy vibe with all the bartenders in old school garb. The lighting is really low with little candles and dim lamps, it’s perfect for socialising!

Amazing experience. Hard to find, you have to look for the door with the lion knocker- but once you're in the atmosphere is amazing. The staff were so friendly and accommodating! Since there was no menu my friend and I were worried we wouldn't know enough about cocktails to order something we would enjoy but we were given both some options of punch as well as one of the staff coming over to discuss what flavours, drinks, styles we liked etc. (with so much enthusiasm which was really comforting) and tailored something so perfect to both of us. On the pricier side but I actually ended up spending less than expected so definitely worth it.

Hidden gem in the heart of city, might take a while to find the entrance at the first time but totally worth taking the adventure! No menu offered but warm gestures by the bartender with his wide knowledge and play magic to the create the tasty cocktail based on your preference. Love everything here, such a great spot to enjoy a peaceful quiet time at the balcony overlooking the busy street

I love finding new and secret places to visit in town. This place is tucked away in plain site, and it has a really unique offering. When you walk in, there's a super moody vibe, and the staff will talk to you about what you enjoy drinking and make suggestions based on your answers because there's no menu. My only regret is that I was driving the night I went, or I would have spent a lot longer exploring new drinks with them.

Very hard to find!!! Look for the beat up stairs and lion head door. Well worth the hunt though, great atmosphere and lovely staff and drinks. Wish we had the endurance to try more! Was a bit hipster but honestly no more so than the rest of Wellington. Highly recommend.

What a great place . A hidden chem in the big capital . You would never find this place unless you know where it is. It is a cocktail bar that takes you back to the time of an era that was classy . Sophisticated and glamorous. Glassware also matches the time and the era. It is a place where they make cocktails based of what you like and feel. Could ask for a berry style cocktail. With a smokey flavour. More sweet then citrus . And out pops this work of art. Was great and will return. Some would say it is expensive. I would say you can't put a price on artists who work to create your ideal drink. 6 cocktails cost us (2 of us ) $73.00 . Good luck in discovering your taste buds and push the boundaries and ask for a surprise. Haha haha.

Waited for nigh on 40 minutes to order which was frustrating, but then order got dropped/lost and we had to leave for a dinner reservation so no drinks. Shame, because we'd heard good things. Was pretty busy in fairness but lots of other tables got their drinks so hence the 1 star review from me. I'd try it again to give it another chance.

Had a booking on a busy Friday night, the staff were great and we were so impressed by our bartenders knowledge. Cocktails tasted great and the wait time was very reasonable. Also 10/10 for atmosphere and ambiance. Would definitely go again and again!

One of the most singular drinking experiences I’ve had in years. On a quiet Thursday night, Pierre precisely lead a small team in the delivery of excellence. The La Louisiane was a highlight.

This has to be the best speakeasy cocktail bar in Wellington. Sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartender is part of the complete experience. After 2 great cocktails, our 3rd we requested "dessert" cocktails, and the 4th we asked him to try and shock us with the most visually flamboyant cocktail. He absolutely delivered. So excited to go back again.
