How awesome was this dining experience. To say we sampled would be an understatement. We loved every bit of it. 21 plates we tried between us and it was delicious. It’s not a fine dining experience but this sushi 🍣 train 🚂 was definitely an amazing experience. Great service. Delicious food. Clean restaurant. Car parks close by and a cool kids menu. Give this one a go for sure 🙌

Loved it. Kazu has the best sushi in Wellington. It's fun watching all the seafood go around and around on the moving tray in the centre of the restaurant. Just pick out what looks the most yum, which can be difficult, because it all looks delicious. The smoked kingfisher is excellent, and they make some lovely fried dumplings. And I can't say no to spring rolls. Nice range of non alcoholic ciders too. Friendly customer service and a chill atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Nice, easy, convenient. Chicken katsu mightve been a little overcooked but was still yum overall, satisfied my craving of curry udon and the sushi was fine 👍

Keep coming back here! The sushi train is so tempting and delicious. Great solution for delicious, quick lunch with no hustle. It is strategically located in Cuba st. The place is not so big but can decently accomodate 20ish people. You can get a variety of sushi here, with salmon, beef, chicken, tuna, and vegetarian choices as well. It has Udon, ramen and miso soup. They also provide tempura, tiramisu, cream puff and various Japanese cider. They also have kids’ menu.

What a fun way to have sushi! The quality of sushi is totally different from picking up pre-made ones. These sushi plates are freshly made so the rice is soft and warm. The rice is especially made well so when you pick up a piece with your chopsticks and dip it in soy sauce, it doesn't break apart.

Absolutely love this place!!! A great selection of fresh raw seafood, as well as cooked foods. My favourites... salmon roe, Kingfish, whole baby squid, scallops...all raw of course. My friend ordered the beef ramen noodles, very tasty she said. Next time I will try their matcha pudding drink, it looks interesting. The food is all served on little coloured plates...on a conveyor belt, known as a sushi train. We spent $130. for 2 very hungry adults. Quality Japanese food is never cheap...it was all worth it. Did I tell you, that I absolutely love this place!!! 😍

It’s hard to complain about a place where the food literally appears before your eyes. The sushi is good. The fish is fresh and the rice portions are kept in perspective ie not gigantic. Tiramisu is a little out of character but probably loved by many.

You guys. It's really good and, in these days of costly everything, a 4 peice plate of yummy spicy chicken roll was $4.90. Ditto seared Kingfish sushi and seared wasabi salmon. I didn't eat much more because we are eating tonight (we enjoy a catch up and hang out!). But. So worth it! Very tasty! They have some incongruously expensive Japanese soda, possibly because they import it from Japan. But it looked interesting so I might try it for $6.90 if I'm thirstier next time! Bowls of Wagyu Ramen are on offer and other menu items on top of sushi train offerings. There's a small vegetarian section. Some sauces are listed as homemade. Everything is dewy-fresh, and practically haloed it's so beautiful. My tummy is so happy.
