Felt that the atmosphere was a bit flat when we visited. We went on a Friday night and there were only two other groups in quite a large dining area. Despite it being quiet, both our food and drinks each took a great deal of time to arrive. However once the flatbreads did arrive, we were actually blown away! Although minimal in ingredients, you could tell that everything that had been included was thoroughly thought out. The olive oil, chunky sea salt, crispy thinly sliced potatoes, everything was amazing. The same could be said for the anchovy one. The waiters & waitress were really great, offered us blankets, took our order promptly and made us feel at home. An overall mixed experience, but would revisit.

We spent a lovely couple of hours being looked after by the wonderful team at Cinderella. The snacks we had were all tasty and Matt (our server) kept us well lubricated with tasty wines and a superbly made negroni. Looking forward to going back!

Wow. Service was great. 100/10. Very informative, passionate about their food, and friendly. Also helpful with recommendations on the menu and helped us figure out portion sizes per person. The food was amazing! Their wagyu beef tartar and wagyu beef porterhouse is the best wagyu I've had yet. Wow. Mocktails were so delicious and full of flavour. Can't recommend Cinderella Bistro enough.

Have been plenty but recently went for a function and had a great time with exceptional service. The food was excellent and extremely good value for the seriously good quality. The wine list is one of the best in town and the staff were helpful with any questions too. I recommend going out of your way and heading here. Sit near the courtyard fireplace or sit at the bar and have a wine or beer in a cosey atmosphere.

One of the best dinners we’ve had during our Wellington trip! We went for the aged beef Wednesday night special, which was delicious and great value with a wine and sides. Service was amazing too, Flo is very passionate about wine and kindly took the time to give us great recommendations for the South Island. Also the basque cheesecake was soooo good and pairs perfectly with the 30 y.o. tawny 🤌

Incredible meal, everyone namednsomething different as their favourite but the cheesecake was really something else. Never tasted anything like it! Amazing! We were right underneath a speaker which made conversation difficult and the 80s pop and rock music didn't seem fitting for the occasion, but that's the only reason we didn't give 5 stars for the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. There are some really interesting flavours in the menu, including the fermented pumpkin. Loved it.

The staff and food were absolutely amazing!! We had the wood oven bread, pork tenderloin, and octopus to start. Then we had the waygu beef with beef fat potatoes, asparagus, and smoked mushrooms confit in garlic for our main. For dessert we had the cheesecake and sorbet. We're from the US, and have been traveling NZ for a week, and this is easily the best meal we've had in a long time. Hats off to everyone at Cinderella, and thank you for an amazing evening!

Food, Service and Atmosphere are amazing, all 5/5. Our waiter was attentive and very knowledgeable. He also clicked onto it being my birthday, and provided me with a Wood Fire Basque Cheesecake, on the house. It was so lovely! Definitely going back
