The food here tastes absolutely delicious, especially the pizza, I would love to take the restaurant back to Germany with me 😅
The staff also was really friendly.
Only the pasta dish was rather small.
And don't expect the Tiramisu to be or taste like actual Tiramisu (Nevertheless it still tasted really good!).
One suggestion I would make for improvement would be to give the guests sharper knives for the pizza so that they can cut it well.
Best vegan pizzas that are close to real pizzas
I mean who knew vegan pizzas would taste as nice as real pizzas with real cheese.
I am a vegetarian and someone took me here because they thought vegan and veggies are same! I was so apprehensive walking in.
But when food came in was so so good. As odered the one with cashews! Was nuts :p
Great place with great atmosphere and music! There are plenty of options on the menu and they are also considering changes when you ask. (Unfortunately I was too hungry to get pictures)
It was great, loved the food.
Noted down one star only because I was asked if we wanted something else, asked for a dessert menu and never got it. We left 20 min after ^^
It’s okay though, we still had a lovely time 😊
When my food arrived, I couldn't help but dive in immediately without any thought of taking out my phone to document it. So you'll have to take me on my word that this place is a delight.
I first came here and had the cream of mushroom pizza (on par with a religious experience). And then I returned to enjoy the brunch cheese hashbrown and caesar salad appetizer. Both were fantastic.
I topped it off with a Bellini, because why not. It is also the only photographic evidence I have to prove that I was even here at all.
Nolita is an awesome all-vegan restaurant 💯 come try it out!
TLDR: Probably one of Wellington's best option for vegans that is really good, but not diverse enough to be perfection.
Service: the wait staff were prompt and efficient. While I have no complaints, they were not what I would call welcoming or inviting that makes for the truly 5 star service of "I loved it" according to the rating system.
Atmosphere: another set of solid 4s here. It was clean and well decorated, but it was a tad cramped and didn't scream "come back" to us.
Food: most importantly is was the food good? Heck yes it was! However, after trying four different dishes, it became a little one note. While the flavors were good, each dish started to taste the same and we tried to order a variety. Additionally, my noodles were a bit over cooked, on the mushier side of cooked, but the sauce was good. We would totally come back because Wellington has few decent vegan options. Nolita does a solid, good job with vegan food. We would just recommend a little more variety and some injection if unexpected flavor to keep us interested.
Such amazing vegan pizza !! So scrumptious. The capreze salad was so fresh and great flavours. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
This is the best place to go for casual vegan dining in Wellington. Everything is perfectly yummy and even the most hardened carnivores will find themselves amazed at how delicious it is! Great for medium to large groups too. Highly recommend.
Really friendly staff. The food was absolutely fantastic. It was a busy night so quite loud but I'm sensitive to that sound so wouldn't consider it a criticism as most people probably wouldn't notice. I had the eggplant pizza and the delicious courgette with mint and feta. I'm not vegan and didn't actually realise it was all vegan until after I'd ordered. I was more than surprised and happy with my choices! I rarely go out at the moment but I was very happy with this experience. Didn't feel over priced and a lot of drink options including more than 1 of 0% beer. Thanks very much for a great evening
Great restaurant if you're after a vegan menu. Terrific selection of entrees, mains and pizzas all meat and dairy free. The cashew mozzarella cheese is really good, as are the pizzas made with sour dough bases.
Good selection of drinks in the menu too.
