If you're a fan of bold and fiery flavors, Chongqing Kitchen 川渝辣妹子 is an absolute treasure trove waiting to be discovered! As a spice enthusiast, my taste buds were in for a real treat as soon as I stepped foot into this vibrant eatery. From the moment I sat down, I knew I was in for an unforgettabl
I had spicy beef noodles and asked for mild, but it was very very spicy I couldn’t even eat the food. Basically tears didn’t stop. It was bloody tasty and yum so good but spicy, they kindly offered me a free meal and not pay for anything. You’re one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever tried,
Chongqing style spicy duck blood is epic with a massive bowl! Couldn’t finish it by myself. The staff were really friendly as well.
One of my favourite go tos in Wellington for Asian food. The hotpot and the normal menu dishes are delicious! The only thing is some items are always sold out!
So good. I’d like to say this is the best hot pot in Wellington. A little bit expensive. But never mind. The taste alway in the front. Pretty good customer service as well. Definitely will be back.
Authentic Chongqing hotpot. Taste so good. Best hotpot restaurant in tall. Quite a few customers are pretty girls that Saturday night. A bit pricey but worth it.
Authentic and flavourful food in the middle of a city and for a good price too 😊 Green Sichuan pepper fish is a must-try!
I stopped by here because I lived in Chongqing for a year teaching english, this place really brought back memories and was truly authentic Chongqing/Sichuan cuisine. I'd gladly come back next time I'm in town!
Absolutely enjoyed our time here! The food was absolutely delicious and they were so accommodating after we walked out of the dumpling company. Their condiments were so good and had a wide range of options! I would like to also say the staff there were incredibly friendly and welcoming! Okay hanks
Really good. We’ve had hot pot before, in China, Mongolia and the US, and this compares favorably. The electronic ordering system was a little confusing at first, but we sorted it out. Warning: Hot means hot in this place, and so does medium. :)
Super legit, authentic, and delicious – one of the best food experiences in Wellington for sure! Hotpot is great for a group, but don't sleep on the full menu of hot and cold dishes, especially if you like the inimitable flavor of super spicy/numbing Szechuan peppercorns (the fish fillets in green p
They have very good food here, their hot pot, the veggie chilli base is amazing. Has such a good flavour, definitely recommend you get the split flavour so you can have the chilli and then the corn is also good. You use a tablet to order and then the food is very quick to arrive at the table. You m
Very cool dining experience tonight, thank you so much!! The man serving us was so friendly and kind, he made us feel welcome and comfortable, and explained things so well, as we didn't know what to do. He made it such a fun experience for us. Food was all fresh and delicious.
