WOAP2023 burger - burger was tasty and fresh, patty was juicy. The place was packed with good vibes. Definitely will try their other things on the menu in the future.

Came here with a large group of people for a farewell lunch, mid-week. They handled the big group (two tables of 10) really well. The food was great. The drink options were great. Highly recommend this. At the end of our meal the chef came out to chat and to see how our food was. That was a really nice touch and great appreciated.
We had a wonderful and delightfully delicious dinner at Ernesto's Cocina Cubana! We ordered a range of tapas style servings; Prawn Cutlets, Ham Croquette, Beef Short Ribs and Charcole Corn (see captions on the photo images) and Tuatara APA and Reggae Fruit Punch These were just devine! We highly recommended this restaurant!
What a fabulous experience we had here. We were wanting a special meal for one of our guests which was not normally offered, so the owner had the chef make it especially. Not only was it fantastic but the chef himself came out twice to check we were happy with everything. We sure we're. We had burgers - the best I've had in a long time. They came with a bowl of roast potatoes and we're crispy and great.
I don't leave tips very often but the service was 5 out of 5 and the meals were the same. Such a happy atmosphere here and the place was buzzing. Will surely be back when next in Wellington. Thanks for a great evening.
Rarely go out but this place served beautiful breakfast for my partner and me. Accommodated us nicely with our baby in the pram too. 10/10 on service, food and the atmosphere. The coffee is amazing too I'm really picky with how I like mine sweet with caramel and it was made perfectly on my first time being here. Will definitely be back!
The overall experience was nice, I would love to try this out for Dinner some time. Looks amazing. The person who we engaged with when we walked in made the visit worth while, the food was good.
Definitely worth a visit
Friendly staff, good/quick wait time and good drinks. However I personally felt like the Arancini balls were quite bland and on the smaller side of things especially for what you pay for it ($28 and I'm not normally a big water but it wasn't enough to fill me up), I feel as if there could be been more sauce and a side of potatoes or something similar instead of a topping of greens (lettuce).
I went in a group of 12 and most people said there food was a bit bland too.
Quite pricey drink I ordered a cocktail but got given a mockrail instead for $19!, $19 would be a good cocktail price but not a mocktail.
Great experience with another Wellington success story with Drummo at the helm. Ordered marinated fish, A meat and cheese board, Bruschetta served with buffalo mozzarella basil and cherry tomatoes topped with cream fresh and a yummy tapenade.

I mean - my goodness. I mean wow .. when food is not just food. Every item we had from starters through to mains and desert was utterly stunning. Absolutely not just another version of the same things that you get everywhere else. Such an incredible privilege to share in day 2 of this AMAZING new restaurant. P.S the staff are equally as passionate and engaged in the food as we were :)

Went to Ernesto's for lunch the other day as a friend had a voucher thay was going to expire. Was super stoked I decided to go along as the Cubano sandwich that I had was absolutely unreal. Could not recommend it more, honestly go there and order it. The little potatoes it comes with were also so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Our table also got the beef short rib which was a hit and the ceasar salad which there was abit of a mix up with. It was ordered with no anchovies and arrived with anchovies and no dressing. It was taken back and when it arrived the second time the dressing was served on the side in a weird bowl. Other no so good thing was we were a table for 3 and they squashed my seat in the middle of a walk way so I was bumped 5 times by people going past so make sure you get a good seat!
The staff were nice and the food was great too. It took some time for my order to be prepared, which left me feeling a bit starved, but I forgot about everything after tasting the food.
Popped in here for a take away and I gotta say, it’s bloody good!
I got the Cubano de Puerco, soft shredded pork, warm ham, dijon, pickles, cheese on what felt like freshly baked bread!
Delicious, scrumptious and worth of many a repeat visit.
The service was polite and delivery pretty quick. Restaurant was busy as well at 1pm Wednesday when I popped in.
Decor looks fresh and the bar selection worthy of a nudge!
Next on my list is a bit of Polynesian goodness, the Oka!

Awesome WOAP burger. Best one of the year yet for me. Really appreciated the 0% alcohol range available, recommend adding 0% rum and tequila to the mix. Service was great, very friendly. Bit disappointed the tip was requested on the pay machine, don't like to see tipping culture/demand creep in here.
Came for a work function, we had various platters selected by the chef put out on each table. The food was all amazing but especially the beef short rib (fell apart, so well cooked) & the pork belly (so juicy).
Absolutely going there again!!
Update: took my partner for lunch & the food was just as amazing as the 1st time. Highly recommend you go here
