I've only dining here for once, but it's beyond to my expectations. Great food size & quality, warm atmosphere, and the great services. It give a great dining experience in this cold weather.
Went here for lunch with my mates back in January 2022, I had the Indonesian nasi goreng. As an Indonesian, I think it tasted pretty authentic, I have to say. The sambal was especially tasty and spicy, just the way I like it. The prawns and chicken were delicious too, although I think the chicken wa
Great spot. Fast friendly service. Terrible day outside but lovely and welcoming in here. Had some great chai and fluffies for the kids. Great deal for a bowl of chips well prices and a good serving size. Kids devoured it right quick. Will be sure to recommend it and stop by anytime we are in the a
The food was served fast , beautiful customer service all around.and the food was so delicious , definitely going back with the whanau...
Don't blindly follow the star rating! Booked in here for a group of 12 and couldn't fault it. Excellent food, excellent service. Of the 2 restaurants in the Chateau, this is the more casual option but it lives up to expectations; it isn't fine dining but it was good food. Serving staff were great to
Usually when there is a cafe at a tourist location the food is not good but this cafe serves the best lamb shank, nasi goreng, beef burger, squid fry with tentacles, coffee. My friends really enjoyed the food. Good portion, taste and filling meal.
We went here for lunch and enjoyed the delicious mussels, pizza and berry smoothie so much we returned for dinner. The waitress was accomodating and friendly despite having worked a long day. The steak and veges at dinner were perfect and the desserts deliscous. Would definately reccomend.
Yummy hot chocolate and chips! Just had a snack in between walks. Only downfall is the price but that is standard for remote areas, more Restaurant pricing than Cafe pricing. But tasty so that made up for it!
Quite surprised to be reading a lot of bad reviews about this place. However when we were there, it was fine. Could it be because of the bad weather? Anyway we ordered the soup of the day. That was very nice. I don't usually enjoy soups, but couple that with a rainy day...perfect combination. Enjoye
Good coffee, comfort food and toasty warm inside. Staff were friendly. A little more expensive than your regular cafe but that's expected given the distance from town.
30 mins passed and we asked why we didnt get our food.. they forgot our order. Then it was another 18mins until we got our food. The fish was too salty but they didnt charge for it. So overall, a responsible place. My partner liked his food, the beef burger with kumara fries.
Absolutely Beautiful. The Staff were great service accommodating our large family. Delivering our Meals in great timing, The food was outstanding. Definately a Fine Dine Establishment.🤗
