What a wonderful little French Café. This place truly makes you feel like you're right there in France itself. The styling is very authentic, with French cuisine such as Croissants and Pain Au Chocolat, a library section full of real French books, and French staff who greet you by saying Bonjour. The inside seating is nice and cozy while there's also an outdoor seating area at the back of the cafe, which is quite large for a small café, and perfect to hide away from the rush of life for a bit. Even outdoors was styled nicely with massive pumpkins and growing plants. Throughout the café were speakers playing cute French music. I definitely recommend this place.

Service is fast and friendly, and the food is delicious 👌 highly recommend the apple and cinnamon croissants! They made me the garlic mushrooms without the bacon or egg but extra mushrooms - very tasty 😋

Wow, the chicken and pesto baguette is amazing! The food is always on point and so much tastier than anything else in the area. The breads are all so beautiful too. Highly recommend!

We stopped in here for breakfast this morning, the while place has a rustic and unpretentious feel to it. There are relaxed dining spaces outside on a nice day. The cabinet selection was excellent lots of different filled croissant baguette, pastries and fresh squeezed orange juice, and all the food we bought tasted amazing. The only issue was the coffee, the reason we stopped in the first place, was quite average. It might have been an ID day for the barrister? I don't know but we'll go back again to check, just because we like the atmosphere and the food was great.

Beautiful food and service, a care for where food is sourced locally and commitment to quality unrivaled in Whakatane. A must for any visitor or local. I will be back this week. I love going here to support a business that has stuck to principles in difficult circumstances and switched to takeaway only to not discriminate, an example for all. Keep it up.

Excellent coffee, for sure the best croissants in New Zealand (I suggest the almond croissant for those without nut allergies) and a lovely, warm atmosphere. In the summer time I suggest sitting outside at one of the tables amongst the prolific tomato plants. Just gorgeous.

Wonderful coffee. I think the best long blacks anywhere I've tried in Whakatane. Gorgeous cabinet food. I'm determined to return and try something from the menu as well.
