Awesome food and amazing service! I can recommend the Pork belly as an entree, the traditional Cuban pulled Beef and rice dish and the lime cheesecake. Will come back again:)

Yummy!! Ceviche was fresh, I put hot sauce on mine, delish. Partner had the Steak with chimichurri Sauce, salad & chips I had a seafood Paella, was so full of flavour loved it. Kids had chicken nuggets and chips, can't go wrong there and was topped off with complimentary ice creams for them as well.

The most amazing place to eat out in Whakatane. It's set and a great environment and the food is always fresh and some of the best tastes I've experienced. Always eat here when staying in Whakatane.
We wandered in off the street and were welcomed warmly.

The owner is a classic: seating customers and coming to see how the food is, chatting with his customers when he is free. We arrived late but the owner held the restaurant open for us. He was serving and did a great job reading the room, convincing us to try some sensational rum. The food was superb and excellent value. This place deserves to be permanently packed. Only sad we weren't able to return there the following
Drinks and dinner. Not bad at all. Good sized portion for me. Even tried the local brew ie Peachy Hazy IPA.
Peter and his daughter made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was fun, the service was fast and the food was amazing!
We ordered tapas plates of ceveche, fresh tacos, beef empanadas, prawn cocktail, and beer battered fries - this was a good amount of food for 2, and it was all beautifully cooked
Great evening, lovely location, served quickly. The fish tacos were the best I’ve had and I’ve had a lot of fish tacos. The cigar was so delicious. Everything was fresh and delish. Also quite a lot of gluten free options which is nice!
