Went with a group of 20. Sat in the quiet area at the back. Service was good. Had delicious twice cooked pork belly. Yummy and tender.

My sister has a walker aid and was not able to manage steps for access. A staff member directed us to a side entrance. From that moment my sister felt comfortable, was able to relax and we enjoyed our visit to the Comm. Service and food was excellent, thanks to all the staff.

It was crazy noisy today as there were 2 other functions on at the Comm. I would recommend not booking if two other functions are booked but our meals were served in good time, the food was fab, and the staff were friendly even though they were rushed off their feet.
Had quick dinner while driving through Whakatane. Quick and tasty dinners- they made me a special vegan dinner which was perfect and interesting and thoughtful. They all went the extra mile and I so appreciated it!
This place does not disappoint! We made a last minute booking for a party of 17 and the food and service were outstanding! Well done to the super attentive staff popping over and asking how our meals were etc.

It was a great night out for our son's birthday and he got to eat for free coz kids dine free on Sunday so that's a bonus. Steak was cooked to perfection, yum crunchy chips. Overall the food was beautiful.

Had to wait for 50 minutes for our meal but it was worth the wait. To be fair, the place was humming and a big long table had to be served before us. We had burgers, both excellent. Our table neighbours had a surf and turf platter which was huge, and according to their report, amazing.
