Had breakfast there on a sunny Saturday before heading to Wanganui market. Beautiful building, friendly staff, good atmosphere. Great Eggs benedict! The mushrooms were so flavorsome and the staff very helpful with my two young fussy eaters. Def go there again next time we visit.

Wow - Fantastic flavoursome food for every course. Cafe looked lovely transformed into fine dining at night. Service friendly but could do with some training for staff. Will definitely return.

Looking for a spot to stop while heading through Wanganui we found this little gem. A period house converted into a cafe. Great layout plenty of seating inside or outside but nicely shaded with mature trees or shrubs. Food was great as was the service. Will definitely stop here again next time we are driving through.

Lovely little cafe situated in an old house in a rather convenient place, providing plenty of parking. It looks well frequented by the locals, creating a homely atmosphere. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty. When I visit Whanganui next time, I'll be back.

Always a great atmosphere and pretty good food too. Portion sizes were good with the yellow house breakfast being $30 and the eggs bene at $29 (the hash browns added)

Popped in today whilst in Whanganui for work. Such a lovely cafe, delicious cabinet food (I can highly recommend the salmon filo) and amazing staff. Super friendly, efficient service. A huge thank you for letting me set up my laptop to clear a couple of emails too. Will certainly be back!

Lovely setting with great selection of food off menu or cabinet. Service was good although waited longer for meals than expected on a busy Labour weekend Monday.

Lovely character cafe with excellent food and service. I had the Beef cheek pie and Red velvet cake, delicious. I gobbled down the rough cut chips and the salad wasn't bad also. Helpful staff, great coffee, although my pet peeve is not serving a flat white in a tulip! I can forgive them due to the nice atmosphere and the art - I loved the Ena Sharples works! I'd go again if in Whanganui, absolutely.

Great food and great service. They ask for your vaccine pass which is great. They have lots of outdoor tables and good distancing between the indoor tables

Just had an exceptional lunch. The lamb salad was tasty and generous with the slow cooked lamb. The beer battered fish was fresh and whole meal worked well. A great experience would absolutely recommend. Loved the atmosphere and art.

Power went out to the whole block while we were there and the staff did everything they could to make sure it experience was pleasant. The food was still delicious and they got the pickiest 7 year old in the world eating sprouts. I would give this place six stars if I could.
