Lovely morning tea here. Lemon cake with the right level of tang and sweetness, savoury cheese and chili scone, and chocolate and raspberry cupcake. The coffees were lovely - latte is in a glass. Very friendly helpful staff. My son had the burger a previous day and it was huge and well appreciated. Highly recommended.
Had booked for 20 for morning tea and arrived to find the morning flight delayed and the airport full. The service was awesome and the food and coffee were excellent. Couldn’t fault a thing. We’ll definitely go again. Thank you
Had the Pea and Ham soup w flat bread. So delicious. The soup was nice and textured and the flat bread was buttery, garlic loaded light textured with the right amont of stretchy chew and charring. Flying back to Auckand and wanted a hearty healthy meal before the chaos of Auckand traffic. Im am impressed. I highly recommend
Took a group here yesterday for morning tea. Fabulous coffee, and huge scones & muffins and so delicious. lovely chatty owner and very helpful and our wait was very minimal for a crowd of us. Most impressed Airport Cafe, I will be back. Thank you
Barista can definitely make good coffee. Large means large. And speaking of large, the cake portions and the wedges I saw delivered to neighbouring tables probably should get building consents they're so big. Tasty food, great coffee and very good prices. I'll be back for large!
Very enjoyable salad for lunch. And generous portions of lovely cake - great value for money. We wanted to support the new owner and were pleased we did, we would visit again.
Well done on getting the cafe up and going again after the lockdown. I only had a cup of coffee here, but it was great. It is important to have coffee available for those early morning flights ❤️

A lovely spot. Very relaxing with good coffee and snack prior to departure. My family and I always come out to the airport earlier than usual to enjoy the cafe.
Not open but lovely check in staff. It is regional airport in nz so what can you expect??? Super friendly people so that helps :-)
Airport cafe whanganui, Nice little Cafe, great coffee ☕, excellent toasted sandwiches, friendly staff, nice atmosphere with airport runway viewing area, indoor and outdoor seating, cosy fire on a cold day 👌
Arrived early and the nice cafe lady let me in before the airport opened. Great coffee and food.
