Salt is a rustic cafe in the Whangarei CBD. It is near a lot of other businesses and is a great hot spot for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Their coffee is AllPress and is quite nice. The atmosphere is a vibe.

Absolutely amazing people!! They are all so lovely and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. Even went the extra effort to cut our 2 shared dishes in two! Highly recommended!! 😊

My only complaint would be the location, can't really sit outside without inhaling vehicle fumes and lacks sun due to the orientation. This has to be the best cafe in Whangarei. I highly recommend the French Toast. Came out piping hot and a burst of amazing flavours.
One of those cafes opens early in town, had a vegetarian breakfast, and gluten free salted Caramel slice takeaway. They were delicious
