Best value meal we had in nearly three weeks in NZ as far as I'm concerned. Very polite "can do" young NZer served us in a proactive and friendly way. The snapper was so fresh it was nearly jumping. The chips and coleslaw were delicious. We ate in and enjoyed ourselves very much.
A nice place to go too , lovely staff they also have ice creams for sale which is a bonus. The owner she is always so friendly and kind. They are generous with the scoop of ice cream size and it is very reasonably priced. I like the vegetarian burger has lots of vegetables.
The food was lovely, chips were perfect and fish was so fresh, also got the prawn wontons they were delicious

It was great. The Prices are very good and you get alot of food for it! I even got a double beef burger with chips for $11 NZD

The batter for both the scallops n fish was extremely light, crisp n very tasty. The tarahiki fish was also fresh, marvelous. Totally enjoyed it. Would rate it above the award winning Oppies fish n chips in Rotorua.
