Beats the fish and chip shop hands down. we only went down main street first night and chippy shop only thing open. found this place after search of eating places. and what a find. great staff, very friendly and too willing to assist. food was amazing, best ribs we have had ever. pork sliders were also a hit as were the chips. A hidden gem just off the main street on state highway 2 heading to wellington. highly recommend this place
Most unassuming restaurant from the outside but once you walk through the doors you are met with warm hospitality and a fabulous menu. There was something for all 6 of us from burgers to pizzas to sliders. Highly recommend this place and am already deciding what I’ll order next time!
We enjoyed a beautifully yummy meal, cosy space and amazing service tonight. First time there and it wont be our last. We travel through Woodville often and now have the perfect stop. Thanks team. Much appreciated.

HIgh tea - Had a lovely time and will be back. Food was awesome. Loved the scones and meringues in particular. The sandwiches were beautiful and fresh.
Maybe a little savoury bacon and egg tart or homemade sausage roll or something instead of one of the sweets is all that could have topped this food wise and as some people know I am quite fussy and love good fresh food.
A couple of little things that could top the visual experience would be a couple of vintage aprons on staff, vintage teapots and vintage plates on stands.
A 'well done' from me and fully recommend this lovely high tea right here in Woodville.

A must stop by place!
Superb feed (we had woodfire pizza and spare ribs) and beer on tap too. The secret BBQ sauce is amazing. Staff are a pleasure.
Lovely sunny outdoor area and dogs are welcome here (outside obviously).
Signage could be a bit "brighter", as its easy to miss and drive pass, which would be a shame.
Stopped on drive from Wellington to Hawkes Bay cause my husband couldn't pass up smoked ribs, which he hasn't had since being in the states, was not disappointed! Only open 2 months, but they nailed presentation and taste. I just ate his shoestring fries and an ice chocolate but they were great, crispy fries cooked in clean oil and ice cream not ice in the drink. He said the ribs were delicious with a side of fresh slaw too. Definitely recommend!

Nice little date night spot, great friendly service, spare ribs were yummo, sliders were yum, game of pool, couple cold ones, nice outdoor area, great all round👍🤩
We only stopped for one drink but a lovely place. Barman was really friendly and funny. Looks like a great place for a family to go out for dinner.
Awsome love the little county atmosphere great food steak sammy to die for. No probs parking don't worry about a reservation pop in get a beer and yarn to the locals
