My wife and I went to the Talbot for lunch on Sunday 30th December 2018. This is our second visit and like the first, was most enjoyable. The menu is extensive enough to satisfy most tastes. The food was delicious with generous servings. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will most certainly

The service and food was impeccable, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the night and made comment on how great the food and atmosphere was. This place would have to be the best in my book so go try
Had a really good meal with my family there last night. Friendly relaxed environment, loved my salad and dessert.
Great lunch menu. Head chef Annette happy to accommodate. Warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Highly recommend.

The Yaldhurst has been a traditional country style pub since I was a kid, can't go past whitebait fritters ( when in season)
Don't expect french cuisine just great pub food here.
