Great place for lunch on the first day of the rail trail. Fish burgers (although delicious) are great, but a little pricey for a pub meal. Fries however were perfectly done and reasonably priced.

Wonderful service and atmosphere. Food is delish. In the summer they have live music in the garden every Sunday. Well maintained playground for kids which is awesome. Also have cornhole games and donkeys in a pen for the kids to look at. Absolutely love this place!
A lively, happy and interesting pub. Conveniently on the Otago Central Rail Trail, so a perfect stop for thirsty riders. The good beer did nothing to dissuade us.
Also, conveniently, it has overnight camper parking. So we came back a few hours later, enjoyed more beer and some fine pug grub.
Rather fine staff too.
