Fantastic restaurant.
Classy interiors
Special ambience
Beautiful presentation
Amazing flavours.
A must try!
We tried out their: Green curry; Yellow curry; Sweet basil stir fry; Mango cream brûlée & Cheesecake with Passionfruit ice cream! Portions are smaller than what we expected but the quality stays! Every single dish we tried was delicious and the services were delightful! They also have a separate vegetarian menu providing a variety of different dishes suitable for vegetarians!

There aren’t many classy restaurants in the Suburban areas. The Ginger is definitely one that I encountered.
The sophisticated interiors and modern decors creates an elegant dining environment. My sensations are refreshed by the gingery aroma the minute I stepped inside the restaurant.
The food was fresh, well presented and innovative, a well display of French techniques to traditional Thai recipes.
For entree, we had the Prawn Ginger Tacos. The prawns were cooked just right, maintaining their fresh and juiciness, served on kumara slices with a delightful tamarind sauce.
For the mains, we ordered the Ginger Salad and a Panang Beef Curry with roti and rice on the side. The snapper was fresh with a crunchy texture. The lemon juice created a zesty taste which freshened the palate.
The Panang curry had the right mildness but was a bit too salty. The beef could have been more tender too. Their roti was amazing; milky in flavor, excellent in texture.
This restaurant has the best presentation in Thai food. Delicate portions and priced at the slightly upper end. But after all, you’re paying for the dining experience as well.
Our waitress for the evening was very warm and attentive. It was a shame that we were too full for any desserts. Maybe next time:)
