Superb place to wine and dine, very modern, and definitely made to feel at home. If you are a food lover you would totally enjoy this Lillius. From entree to dessert to the service of the friendly staff, I enjoyed it all. Fine dining at its best with awesome NZ produce, great selections of NZ wine and beers. My Recommendations, I have to say everything we had was just awesome!
Entree-Crayfish, bone marrow, savoy cabbage, sago and seaweed.
Main-Hawke’s Bay Wagyu, parsnip, miso mustard and greens.
Desert-Strawberries, tomatoes, white chocolate and basil.
Sour Dough with butter, the carrots dipped in Greek yogurt and cumin and lamb wrapped in butter leaf, has to have a mention also.

Wow, what a beautiful place! You walk in and feel like you could be anywhere in the world. The whole experience is stunning from the furniture to the fine detail in the food. The service was exceptional and amazing value for money. Put this place at the top of your list for Auckland...it’s that good you may even think about going a second night!
I took my husband to dinner at Lillius last week and we had the five course degustation menu. You have no idea what you’ll be getting. The chef just sends out whatever he’s in the mood to make, based on the ingredients he has. It was SUPERB! At first we were joking that we were going to have to stop at KFC on the way home because we’d still be hungry, but by the end of the meal, I couldn’t have fit another thing in. The service was fantastic and the food was the best I’ve had in ages.
We loved the private little booth we sat in. It’s a perfect place for a romantic anniversary dinner or birthday, but there was also a table of 4 couples in there as well, so they cater for big or small groups.
Every dish was so delicious!
