This is the BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT EVER!!!! We are visiting from Auckland and have never tasted butter chicken or veg korma as good as this!! The plain naan was light and fluffy with a slight crispy crust...YUMMY. The waiter was polite and attentive and the chef is a master. Honestly if you're staying at any of the motels in this area or simply passing through, do yourselves a favour and eat here. You wont be disappointed. Loved it. 10 out of 5 stars! Perfect.q

Had a chicken biriyani from this new addition to the Indian restaurants in Christchurch. Food was really delicious and they served a good portion if it too. The service was very friendly and polite and the restaurant has a very nice ambience.

If you want to eat excellent authentic Indian cuisine where the service and decor are flawless, Mushroom is for you. In the past when I've asked for the hottest curry, the waiters have told me I could not handle that heat. At Mushroom, I was given the hottest curry of my life and loved every moment of it.
