This rather inconspicuous and quaint shop here sells ONE OF THE BEST DONUTS IN TOWN! Oh my god, I literally walked past it the first time I was here thinking it was just another donut shop. I had such a huge craving for donuts yesterday and my friend introduced me to this place. I was a bit apprehensive but as long as I get my cravings satisfied, I'm good.
Went to check out the menu, it was straightforward. I got a cinnamon donut at $3.40 (if I remember correctly) as well as the 40 mini donuts at $15. Gosh. The freshly prepared 40 mini donuts were extremely fluffy, sugary, and light to bite. The moment you bite it, you will realise how soft the texture is with puffy insides.
Even after 3 hours, the 40 mini donuts were still good to eat, although slightly hardened. I was taught by the owner to microwave it before consuming if kept out for a while.
The owner was super friendly too! I now know where to go for more donuts.
The salted caramel donut is one of my favorites! Just a shame that the prices have gone up. I do however like the six donuts for the price of $12 and my wallet likes that a bit more. Would be happier to see a slight price decrease on single donuts during the day as $4.90 is quite excessive. I even saw one donut for $6.90! :(
Their donuts are probably some of the best we've ever had. Our tamariki only ever eat the icing, but BOTH ate their donuts.
Just so fresh and delicious 😋. Also LOVE that it's a safe space for our immune compromised whānau ❤️
