One of, if not the, best things about summer at Cook's Beach. Massive food selection, and a pretty good selection of beers and gins, with a smattering of local brews on tap.
Obviously it can get quite busy over the silly season, but the staff manage very well considering. When it's really pumping, you can expect food to take a wee while longer, but the quality makes it more than worth it. The snacks are fantastic and the mains even better.
Split billing is not available, but tables can open multiple tabs under different names to make paying up a little easier.
I would love to see the return of a wider range of the local breweries' beers - Hot Water Brewing is just down the road, and Blue Fridge is nearby as well.
All in all, you'd be a fool to pass the Vessel by. Support local!
Wonderful meal this evening. Lamb curry delicious $25 including a glass of house wine. Bill had Fish&chips also delicious and very generous servings. Lovely Aix en Provence Rose
First time here for lunch and impression over all was very good. The setup is well done, plenty of tables and shade. Great selection of wine and beer with some excellent craft beer on tap. Meals are also very nice with good selections using local seafood and produce. Service is great and tye staff friendly, well worth a visit.
