Three of us had lunch here and very much enjoyed it. Rustic soup of the day with a bucket of fries for two of us and a platter. The toasted sourdough bread was wonderful and generous. The platter had by my daughter had good variety and also included the sourdough.
We were visiting from Central Otago and had been here before and it seemed disjointed with no menu offered. This time our experience was very much better.
The food and the service were of a very good standard and there was plenty of variety on the menu.

Thanks guys for an awesome lunch!

My family and I were in a hurry to get to a funeral :( but you pushed us through and we got there in plenty of time.

I do call in a bit and grab my usual Hash... love it! (no mushroom) and with Hollandaise, now that it doesn't come with! :)

Amazing food as always! Keep up the good work :)

The kids and I visited Eat for lunch one weekend in early May. The kids had the standard hotdog and chips kids meal which was exactly what you'd expect. The waitress brought the kids an activity page and colouring pencils to bide the time while we waited for our food.
I had the calamari and it was lovely with a nice side salad. Not too pricey and OK value-wise for lunch.
The waitress we had was nice and very helpful and overall it was a good dining experience.
