Visiting the Bird Gardens was a great way to spend a few hours on a fine Spring day. Bought a coffee and toasted sandwich at the cafe first, and sat in pleasant surroundings to enjoy them both. A lot of photo opportunities, especially from the Peacock which put on an amazing display. Was wonderful walking around and having the birds interact with us. Very grateful to have such beautiful gardens close to Tauranga. Well worth the journey.

Just amazing! Unique and beautiful birds everywhere. A must go for any bird or animal lover. Friendly birds, nice cafe and food, cool gift shop, very well maintained grounds and garden. We will be back soon 😊
