Arrived at opening time 3 pm hungry and thirsty. Welcomed with a happy hour Margarita and beer which were both super tasty. Followed by amazing dip, pulled pork tacos then shared a crunchy burrito thingy. Awesome. Happy hour 3 to 5 pm. Food fresh. Would come back if we were staying for longer.

In ancient folklore Gringa was the queen of frozen margaritas, this is not widely known. Her spirit had been reborn in this busy corner of Mangawhai heads. Careful though, if the spirit of the margarita queen is disturbed too many times she will wreak vengeance upon you (they're strong)

I don't usually give a tip however my sister and I were so impressed with the charm and service of the young lady that I couldn't leave without tipping her. What a delight with her top notch service. . We loved the food and the drinks. Good size serves too. The dessert was delicious too. Thank you so much.
It was packed too so obviously a hit with locals and visitors. I will definitely visit again.
